I thought this was kind of a hard challenge. I got everything on there from the list but not sure if I'm overly pleased with the results though. I almost forgot the circle so I punched out a small circle and put it in the middle of the "o" in school. Also the recycled item it a bottle cap, it had a button on it by the tag with the date. The rub on is "first day of". I think the rest you can see pretty well. The only product name I can tell you is the pp and that is from the Grade School Pack - Die Cuts With A View.

Stamp by Step - Spooky Circles challenge
TAKE THE CHALLENGE
Spooky Circles
Looking for a fun design challenge? We've got one for you! All you need to do is include circles in your Halloween design and submit an electronic photo of your creation to: cheryl@stampbystep.com with the subject line: Spooky, by Sunday October 4th, 9:00pm for a chance to win this prize package.
The skull stamp is from Imaginisce and I stamped it in purple then covered it in purple glitter. The paper is also from Imaginisce called Hallowhimsy.
Digital Ink Co. (D-IC) - Color Challenge
Does that look like burgundy, light blue and dark blue to you? I didn't think so and neither did most of the design team. I thought it was minty green in the middle. So this color challenge was pretty much "open to interpetation". : )
I used an image from Stitchy Stamps available at Digital-Ink Co. I don't know where the guitar image is from sorry I don't remember where I got it. I colored both images with Copics then went to town on the bling. : ) Me loves the bling!! I also used my clear Glaze pen on both images. I pop dotted the girl image to add dimension. The paper is from Cosmo Cricket "Cogsmo".
Now check out Honey - isn't she a cutie pootie from Beary Dust [Sue]!!If you would like a chance to win this image you need to go enter the challenge. While you are there you can check out what our other DT's did or should I say how the other DT's interpretated the colors. ; )
The Digital-Ink blog hop starts this Friday, October 2nd and the Blog Candy drawing is October 19th. There is so much going on at Digital-Ink Co. so come join in on the fun!!

SSDS Sketch Challenge
I followed the sketch pretty much to the "T". This is a simple card for me, not too much frou, frou. The B&W paper from a paper pack The Paper Studio. The green glitter paper is from a scrap pile and I think someone else gave it to me. I did have glitter on my face though when I was done. : ) I used the glitter paper to punch a small flower and put it in the middle of my B&W flowers. The Happy Birthday image was also given to me. So besides this being a simple card it also didn't cost very much to make.

Simply Scrapping Card Challenge - with Tutorial
I did the tutorial using just a solid colored cardstock in hopes it would show up easier but on my final card I used different paper. Here is what it looks like finished:
Gift Card Holder - Card Tutorial
Cut cardstock or double sided paper 5” x 12”; then score at 4”, 6” and 8” (ignore that second score line on mine – I made a mistake when doing my 4” in score line)
Now you need to make an opening for the gift card to slide into the middle section. I used a punch from Stampin’ Up and punched it a couple of times to make it wide enough. You can experiment with different styles of punches to get this opening or you can just cut an opening with scissors too.
I used scissors to cut off the little rounded part left by the punch to make it a straight edge (where I’m pointing on the picture).
Put adhesive on just one side of the punch and adhere below the opening for the gift card. Just decorate the front as desired.
Here is my finished card again.

Need help and a blog award
Now, down to business. I would like to see if I can get someone to help me. I am wanting to get a watermark for my photos. Not that I think anyone wants to steal my stuff or anything. ; ) I just think it looks professional and kind of cool. I'm sure I could figure out how to do it but it would take me hours and hours of learning it then making something I would be happy with. So instead I'm going to see if I can "pay" someone to make one for me. Now by "pay", I mean in products. I will customize the "payment" according to whoever makes it. I have clear stamps, flower, brads, buttons, chipboard, paper, dew drop/skittles or whatever - you name it and most likely I have it. Just to give you an idea of what I'm looking for I'm going to want my name and blog name along with a small crown (a princess needs her crown - right?) and probably some swirls - I love the swirls. Oh if I could get a Fleur de lis on it too that would be fabulous. So if you know how, can and will do this for me in exchange for some goodies from my scrap room just email me and let me know. diane.davies@yahoo.com If you don't how to do this but know someone who does pass this on to them and maybe they'll cut you in on the "payment" when the get it. : )

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Week Five and we are having a blast!! Take a gander at the loot up for grabs this week:
Our sponsor this week is April Reece - Reece's Designs and Digital Ink Co. Perfect and just in time for Fall.
The Challenge: "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
This is a special challenge that allows you to enter your work, your child's (can be niece, nephew, son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, neighbor's kid, scout troop) work, and/or both. You'll see below that some of our team members got their little ones to join in the fun! The apples do not fall far from these creative ladies' trees. The Design Team Spotlight this week is Carlie our very own 11 year old Design Team Member.
As soon as I heard the name of the challenge I knew I wanted to use Firefigher Ian from The Greeting Farm. I can not think of the paper I used for this - sorry! For the sentiment I just typed it out on my computer using a fun font I had. Then printed it out and cut it apart.
Go on over to Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays challenge blog to check out what all the other designers. Some of them got their children involved too. Since this is a holiday weekend here in the US why don't you take the time and make a card or some other project with you child and enter it into the challenge. Have a great weekend!!

Blingy Pink Christmas
Hello all! Welcome to the first card challenge for the month of September. Can you believe we are heading into the fall and winter months??? This year has flown! In preparation for some things we have coming up . . . your challenge today is: Create a Christmas (or winter holiday, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc) card with just one requirement...you must use the color PINK! That's right...PINK!
Check out the prize for September. It's fabulous!! This has a stamp set, paper, rub ons, chipboard and bling.
Be sure to check the post for all the details on how the challenge works and the requirements.
I had fun with this challenge. I pulled this paper out of my card scrap pile so I have no idea what line or brand it is. The sentiment is a Studio G $1 stamp that I got last year at JoAnn's. The trees I have had for a loooong time. This is a perfect card to give to one of my girlfriends.
