WHEN I GROW UP I WANT TO BE....

hi! happy new year to all! gosh, it has been so long that i have updated my blog. Honestly, mum got too buzy planning for my December Holiday Programme that she has no time to help me to blog about it. Plus, she was buzy preparing for reopening of school and mentally preparing herself to work again after 1 month of hiatus! However, mum has promised me she will try to update on the December Holiday Programme in my blog. Just be patient okay?
Anyway, you must be wondering why I post these photos on my blog. Besides posing and smiling in front of the camera, I am quite a hyper active child who loves running around and doing physical activities. So mum had a hard time surfing the net to choose what programmes is good to meet my physical development needs. She asked me whether I like to join art class, i said no. She enrolled me in skating lessons which I find it a bit hard because I cant stand on my own and its very frustrating.
However, I think mum has to thank this show for giving making me falling in love with gymnastics:
Initially, she wanted to enroll me in gymnastic class and i told her straight to her face, NO. so she gave up and said she will enroll me in classes that i like. Anyway, dad happened to subscribe to MIOTV. So during the holidays, mum was bored and played around with MIOTV and she came across to this US TV Series Make It or Break It. She subscribed to it and got addicted to it. and subconsciously, as i watched the series with her, I suddenly fell in love with gymnastics naturally!
And you know which is my favourite character? Its the girl with blue leotard. Her name is Emily. I like her really alot and I want to be like her! So I told mum I wanna join gymnastics class.
And yes, as from today onwards, I am a member of the BAZGYM Gymnastics School. Today was my trial class and I totally fell in love with the place, the trainers and my new friends:
I am looking forward for every Sunday for my gymnastic class and hopefully to be as skilful and graceful as Emily. Thanks Mom for enrolling me in something I really enjoy and like!

First Run - Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2009

Hi all! Phew! It has been really a while since I have updated my blog. Gosh, my mum has been very buzy to help me to update the blog. Many things have happened and I wish I could write everything in this post but i guess it would be too much to ask from my mum.
Nevertheless, the objective of this blog of mine is to share with you about the happy things I did with my family and friends. Last Sunday, my family participated in our first family run -THE STANDARD CHARTERED SINGAPORE MARATHON 2009.
Don't get me wrong.we did not run the 42.1km route. Mum and Dad ran only 10km. Me? I ran 10km plus 750m kids dash. Really. Dad pushed the pram throughout the route with me. So it made sense that I covered 10750m, right? So I did actually cover longer distance than my parents! Haha, in fact, I even sleep inside the pram as the weather was so cooling and windy. Who wouldnt sleep right? At the last 100 m from the finishing line, Dad actually sprinted like a speeding car and I didnt realise it? That showed how exhausting I was sitting in the pram for 2 hrs!

along the 10km route - right in front of the IR constructions
waiting for my turn for the Kids Dash
mum completed her first 10km run! awesome mum!you are my inspiration!

both of us won medals!
haha!if you wanna know what happened to my left eye, here's the story. I went to Fort Canning last Sat for a relative's wedding and I had a little bump on my left side of my forehead. Mum thought it was just a mosquito bite. I guess my skin is sensitive and I may be allergic to this insect's bite and the swollen became even bigger! i cant even open my eye when I smile. But, nah, dont worry, mum and dad brought me to the clinic and should be okay within few days. the bite is nothing as compared to the great winning moment when I had my 750m run! Thanks papa for giving me such great encouragement. and also to all the supporters along the route. I felt famous when all of you cheered for me and took my pics!
p/s: in order to earn and win something, I have to work hard for it. indeed. running 750m is not easy but i made it to the finishing line and yup, i won my first medal. my first hard earn medal. well-done tata!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me,
happy birthday to Juita, happy birthday to me!
I have turned 3 years old on the 13th September 2009! The celebration was really awesome and memorable. Though I did not received much present this year, but I feel that this year's celebration is more meaningful as I understand better what is birthday celebration all about as compared to when I was 1 and 2 years old. This time round, my mum celebrated my birthday in 3 times! Sometimes, I got confused as I thought my birthday has ended but then we celebrated my birthday again. Hehehe.

Eve of my birthday
the agenda of that day outing was ACTUALLY to shop for my birthday gifts and of course mum wanted to shop with Aunt Nurazni.haiz. BUT, i got 2 wonderful gifts from my mum! As usual, mum will bring me to Zara to buy clothes for hari raya. She was expecting me to choose 1 dress. As usual again, i disappointed her. I never really like to wear dress. I prefer something simple like blouse or jeans or even skirt. I really liked this long-sleeved black zara blouse. After about 20 minutes of persuasion, I still refused to give in thus mum bought the blouse. But, mum and Aunt Nura were smart. They were looking for a black skirt to match with the blouse so that I will look presentable during hari raya outing. Finally, I was convinced to wear the skirt with the blouse and i liked it! And she even bought black stockings too! I also managed to choose a limited edition pink shoes for raya. Too bad mum didnt have time to take photos of the things we bought at zara. she managed to spend less than $130 at Zara with 5 items. Cool huh? Not as broke as previously.
at fish & co (paragon) with yours truly and mum
got a wonderful, huggable bear from Auntie Nura & Aunti Liana.Thank you aunties!
and this was the second gift that mum got me! my own personal pink laptop! 13th September 2009:

that day was my birthday! yippee! However, before I went for the makeover, I visited Auntie Zara (not the owner of the Zara shop, its Auntie Zahara, mum's friend) as she just gave birth to a baby boy on 3rd September. Too bad mum forgotten to take a pic. However, mum will definitely steal pictures from Auntie Zara's facebook.hehe.Congrats Auntie! Hope you like the Gap gift we got you.
Next, it was make over time! Mum took 2 package for me: The mum & toddle makeover & princess makeover package. Here are the 2 pictures as preview of the makeover.Hope you like it!
The celebrations was totally awesome. Thanks mum for everything. I will never forget these wonderful moments you have created for me.Hugs! And I am excited that I am already 3 years old!

BAKING LESSON

Steps to Make Hershey Chocolate Cake
Hi! Im back again! Phew! It has been a while since I updated my blog (with the help of my mum of course). Well, I want to blog about my first baking experience with my mum during one of her free weekends. Well, my mum is not a good cook so instead of getting the original ingredients on how to make chocolate cake, she used an instant package instead. Haha, good idea mum!
1) First step, prepare 2 cups of water, a cup of oil and 3 eggs. 2) Secondly, open the package and pour the mixture into a big bowl.
like this!
3) pour the water and the oil into the mixture
4) Fourthly, put the 3 eggs into the mixture. this time, mum did not trust me so i took the ladle and mixed the mixture. 5) mixed the mixture until it is all well-mixed (got help from mum because the mixture was everywhere on the table, heh)
6) Dont forget to grease the tray with butter or margarine
7) pour the mixture into the greased tray
8) pat the mixture well into the tray so it is evenly spread and you can put the cake into the oven!
And as usual, after making such a big mess, I have to clean the dishes.
phew! it is not easy to be a woman you know....
Look at my chocolate cake!
mum looked rather excited because it is her first time baking also...sheesh..
Trying the cake that i made with ice-cream and whip cream.... andddddd.....
YUMMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so if you would like to taste my chocolate cake, you can make your order in this blog. till then!
