Mr. Mime -- Fates Collide Pokemon Card Review

Mr. Mime Fates Collide Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mr. Mime from the Fates Collide Pokemon Card Set.  Mr. Mime is a basic, fairy type Pokemon card with an hp of 80, it has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Mr. Mime does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Mimic, for one fairy type energy this move allows you to shuffle your hand into your deck and draw the same number of cards that your opponent has in their hand.  Mr. Mime's second move is called Juggling and for two colorless energy cards this move does 20 damage times the number of heads you get when flipping 4 coins.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mr. Mime is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, this card would work well as an unlimited use trainer card with its Mimic move, or if you attach a Trick Coin trainer to this card and use a Double Colorless energy cards, for only one energy you could do up to 80 damage a turn.  So if you're building a fairy type deck, this card definitely has some merit for use, and if you're looking for a recycle type move for your hand, this is the card for you.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Fates Collide set.  This card is very solid overall, with a good HP, and two good but not great moves.  This card would work well in a fairy type deck and should definitely be considered when building a deck.

Mr. Mime -- BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Review

Mr. Mime BREAKthrough Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mr. Mime from the BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Set.  Mr. Mime is a basic, fairy type Pokemon card with an hp of 70, it has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Mr. Mime's Ability is called Bench Barrier and says that all effects of attacks done to your benched Pokemon are prevented.  Besides the Ability, Mr. Mime just has one move called Juggling that for two energy cards, one each of fairy and colorless, this move does 10 damage times the number of heads you get when flipping four coins.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mr. Mime is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, the main reason you'd use this card in a deck is for its Ability, which in my opinion is very good, so no matter the type of deck you're building, I would definitely consider putting one Mr. Mime in the deck, this card can easily destroy a spread attack type deck's strategy, and prevent any damage done to your own Pokemon by one of your active Pokemon's attacks.  Outside of the Ability, there isn't a great reason to use this card since Juggling is based off of coin flips, but if you plan on using this card in the active Pokemon spot you'll want to attach a Trick Coin trainer to this card to give you two chances at flipping 4 heads.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an above average Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKthrough set.  Even though I am not a huge fan of the attack on this card, Mr. Mime's Ability alone is a reason to strongly consider using this card in a deck.  Just keeping this card on the bench the entire game and using Mr. Mime's Ability can make a huge impact on the game.  So if you think you'll be facing some spread attack type decks in the near future, definitely use this card in your deck.

Mr. Mime -- Primal Clash Pokemon Card Review

Mr. Mime Primal Clash Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mr. Mime from the Primal Clash Pokemon Card Set.  Mr. Mime is a basic, fairy type Pokemon card with an hp of 80, it has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost.  Mr. Mime does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Trick, for one colorless energy card this move moves a Pokemon Tool card attached to one of your opponent's Pokemon to another one of their Pokemon.  Mr. Mime's second move is called Lock Up, for two energy cards, one each of fairy and colorless, this move does 30 damage, plus it makes the defending Pokemon unable to retreat during their next turn.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mr. Mime is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, this card definitely isn't a bad Basic Pokemon card having a good HP, and one good move.  You could definitely try and use this card as a starter type Pokemon in a deck, just get two energy cards on it and you can do 30 damage a turn.  This card is quite limited in what it can do though, since the first move on this card, Trick, is basically useless.  So if you need a somewhat powerful Basic Pokemon card to use in a fairy type deck, I would suggest looking at using 1 of these cards in it.  But I am never a fan of having Basic Pokemon cards having more than a 1 colorless energy card retreat cost.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Primal Clash set.  This card has an above average HP, and one of the two moves it has is pretty good.  However, this card's retreat cost is high and it is slow on the attack.  So weighing out the positives and negatives this card is average overall, and could easily be used in a deck or left out, it is really your choice.

Mr. Mime -- Pokemon X and Y Card Review

Mr. Mime Pokemon X and Y Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mr. Mime from the X and Y Pokemon Card Set. The first move that this card has is called Massage, for two energy cards, one each of fairy and colorless, this move does 60 damage to one of your opponent's benched Pokemon.  Mr. Mime's second move is called Slap Down, this move requires three energy cards, two colorless and one fairy, and does 40 damage plus 20 more damage for each heads you get when you flip two coins.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mr. Mime is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, if you're building a fairy type deck, this basic Pokemon card is one you can easily add to the deck, but if you're building a fairy type deck with a spread damage strategy, this card should definitely be in your deck.  If I were to use this card in a deck, I would use it for Massage mostly, so I would put Mr. Mime on the bench, put two energy cards on it, use Massage a couple of times then retreat it.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average basic Pokemon card that has two decent moves, one slightly above average and one slightly below average.  So this card is average in a regular deck and above average in a spread type deck.  Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend using this card in a deck.

Mr. Mime -- Plasma Freeze Pokemon Card Review

Mr. Mime Plasma Freeze Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mr. Mime from the Plasma Freeze Pokemon Card Set.  Mr. Mime is a basic, psychic type Pokemon card with an hp of 70. It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Mr. Mime's Ability is called Bench Barrier and it says that all attacks done to your benched Pokemon are prevented.  Besides the Ability, Mr. Mime just has one move called Psy Bolt, this move requires two energy cards, one each of colorless and psychic, and does 20 damage, plus if you get a heads when you flip a coin, the defending Pokemon is paralyzed.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mr. Mime is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  I actually like this card a fair amount and would use the card in my deck in two scenarios.  The first would be as a starter type Pokemon in a psychic type deck, I would include up to four of these and use Psy Bolt when possible, the earlier in the game the better.  The other time I would use this card in a deck is if you have a card in your deck that does damage to your own Pokemon, I would then include one Mr. Mime card in your deck, put it on the bench the whole game and prevent your benched Pokemon from being damaged.  So overall, this is a good card that I would recommend using in a psychic or spread damage type deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average basic Pokemon card from the Plasma Freeze Pokemon Card set.  Like I mentioned in the strategy section of this post, I like this card a fair amount and I think it is quite versatile, with that being said, this card isn't extraordinary at anything so that is why I'm only giving it an average rating, but it still deserves to be in most psychic type decks because the card will definitely help you some.
