Fletchinder -- Guardians Rising Pokemon Card Review

Fletchinder Guardians Rising Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchinder from the Guardians Rising Pokemon Card set.  Fletchinder is a Stage 1, Colorless type Pokemon card, with a HP of 70.  It has a x2 weakness to Lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to Fighting type Pokemon, and a one Colorless Energy card retreat cost.  Fletchinder does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move on this card is called Flap, for one Colorless Energy card, this move does 20 damage.  Razor Wind is the name of this card's second move, for two Colorless Energy cards, this move does 40 damage, however, you must flip a coin when using this move, if you get a tails, the move does nothing.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchinder is a Stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Fletchling into play (I reviewed Fletchling from this set yesterday) and then evolve Fletchling into Fletchinder.  Fletchling does have a Stage 2 evolution in Talonflame, which I'll be reviewing tomorrow, that you'll probably want to use with this Pokemon line but since I haven't reviewed that card yet, the strategy below will act like Fletchinder is the final evolution in this line.  So if you read my review of Fletchling, you'll know that I thought it was a below average Basic Pokemon card overall.  The main reason for not wanting to use Fletchling on its own is because the card has a below average HP, it also requires two Energy cards to do damage when attacking.  Knowing this about Fletchling and looking at this Fletchinder card, this card follows suit, it also has a below average HP, and two weak moves.  Although it is good this card can fit into any type deck and can attack for only one Energy card, with only 70 HP, it can get knocked out pretty quickly, and the move that does more damage on this card, Razor Wind, only has a 50% chance of doing damage when attacking.  So there is enough negatives on this card that I certainly wouldn't recommend using Fletchling or Fletchinder without using Talonflame in your deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a below average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Guardians Rising set.  Like I mentioned above, this card is just not good, with a low HP for a Stage 1, and two moves that are weak for a Stage 1 Pokemon card.  Add to the fact that this card has a less than 100% chance at doing damage when attacking, and there is no reason to use this line in a deck.  Together with Fletchling from this set, I would give both Pokemon combined a 1 out of 5 rating.

Fletchinder -- Steam Siege Pokemon Card Review

Fletchinder Steam Siege Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchinder from the Steam Siege Pokemon Card set.  Fletchinder is a Stage 1, colorless type Pokemon card, with a HP of 70.  It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Fletchinder does not have an Ability and it only has one move called Glide that does 30 damage for one colorless energy card.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchinder is a Stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Fletchling into play (I reviewed Fletchling from this set yesterday) and then evolve Fletchling into Fletchinder.  Fletchinder does have a Stage 2 evolution in Talonflame, which I'll be reviewing tomorrow, that you'll probably want to use with this Pokemon line but since I haven't reviewed that card yet, the strategy below will act like Fletchinder is the final evolution in this line.  So if you read my review of Fletchling, you'll know that I thought it was a below average Basic Pokemon card, all because of its low HP of 40.  Other than that, it could do above average damage for only one energy card, could be used in any type deck, and had a low retreat cost.  Knowing this about Fletchling and looking at this Fletchinder card, this card is very similar, in that it would be a great card to use in a deck if it had a higher HP, because for only one energy card this card can do 30 damage a turn.  So if you can use a trainer or Pokemon's Ability to give this card a higher HP, it is definitely worth it to use Fletchling and Fletchinder as starter type Pokemon in a deck, you could do major damage right away during a game for only one energy card and leave the rest of the energy cards in your deck for other Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a below average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Steam Siege set.  Like I mentioned above, other than having a really low HP, this card is solid overall, same goes for Fletchling from this set.  So if you can figure out a way to increase the Pokemon in this line's HP, they are definitely worth using together in a deck, without HP improvement, I would give both cards a 2 out of 5 rating.

Fletchinder -- Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Review

Fletchinder Roaring Skies Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchinder from the Roaring Skies Pokemon Card set.  Fletchinder is a stage 1, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 70.  It has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a free retreat cost.  Fletchinder does not have an Ability and it only has one move.  The only move that this card has is called Peck Off, for one colorless energy card this move does 10 damage, plus you can discard all Tool cards attached to the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchinder is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Fletchling into play (I will be reviewing Fletchling from this set in a few weeks since it is a colorless type Pokemon) and then evolve Fletchling into Fletchinder.  Fletchinder does have a stage 2 evolution in Talonflame that you'll probably want to use with this Pokemon line but since I haven't reviewed that card yet, the strategy below will act like Fletchinder is the final evolution in this line.  Since I haven't reviewed Fletchling from this set yet, I'll just assume it is average, so with this assumption, I would not recommend using Fletchinder in a deck without using Talonflame.  I say this because not only does Fletchinder have a really low HP, it only has one move and that one move can do little damage.  If you are worried about your opponent playing Tool cards quite a bit, you could include a 1-1 line of Fletchling and Fletchinder in a deck and just put Fletchinder in the active Pokemon spot to remove their Tool cards and retreat it for free the next turn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 1 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a very poor Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Roaring Skies Pokemon card set.  Like I stated in the strategy section above, this card has a very poor HP, and a weak move, the only positive thing about it is its free retreat cost, but why even use the card if it is so weak.  So if you're looking to put some more fire type Pokemon into your deck, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Fletchinder -- Phantom Forces Pokemon Card Review

Fletchinder Phantom Forces Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchinder from the Phantom Forces Pokemon Card set.  Fletchinder is a stage 1, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 80.  It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Fletchinder does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Peck, for one fire energy card this move does 20 damage.  Fletchinder's second move is called Combustion, and for three energy cards, two fire and one colorless, this move does 60 damage.

Since I haven't reviewed Fletchling from this set yet, I'll just assume it is average, so with this assumption, the only way I would use even one of these Fletchinder cards in a deck would be if I planned on getting Fletchinder into the active Pokemon spot the second turn in the game, and using Peck right away.  I wouldn't recommend using Combustion unless you're using this card with Talonflame, because this move requires too much time to set up for a Pokemon with only 80 HP.  So if you really want to use this line in a deck, I wouldn't use more than a 1-1 line of Fletchling and Fletchinder.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a slightly below average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Phantom Forces set.  This card does have two average to above average moves and a low retreat cost, but would have been a much better card if it had 90 HP instead of 80.  So again, this is a below average card, but if you would like a quick Stage 1 card in your deck, this card is definitely recommended.

Fletchinder -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Fletchinder Flashfire Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchinder from the Flashfire Pokemon Card Set.  Fletchinder is a stage 1, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 80.  It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Fletchinder does not have an Ability and it only has one move called Firebreathing, this move requires one fire energy card and does 20 damage, plus if you get a heads it does 20 more damage for a total of 40 damage for one energy card.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchinder is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Fletchling into play, I haven't reviewed Fletchling from this set yet because it is a colorless type Pokemon, but you can either go look at that card yourself, use the X and Y version, or wait until my review of Fletchling.  So just assuming that Fletchling is an average card, I would consider using one of these Fletchinder cards in your fire type deck.  I would use only one if I used this card because Fletchinder has a low hp and it is quite limited in that it only has one move.  But because the only move that this card has requires one energy card and can do up to 40 damage, it would be a good card to get into the active Pokemon spot early in a game.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an average stage 1 Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  Even though this card only has 80 hp and only one move I am still giving it an average rating because it has a low retreat cost and a pretty good move.  So if you're building a fire type deck, this Fletchinder card is a good card to consider using in your deck.

Fletchinder -- Pokemon X and Y Card Review

Fletchinder Pokemon X and Y Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchinder from the X and Y Pokemon card set.  Fletchinder is a stage 1, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 70.  It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Fletchinder does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Flame Charge, this move requires one colorless energy and allows you to search your deck for a fire energy card and attach it to Fletchinder.  Fletchinder's second move is called Fire Wing, this move requires two energy cards, one each of fire and colorless and does 30 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchinder is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Fletchling into play which I haven't reviewed yet because it is a colorless type card, but of course in order to use this card you're going to have to use that card, so I'll just assume that Fletchling is average for now.  You are probably going to want to use this card with its stage 2 evolution, Talonflame, which I'll be reviewing tomorrow, but this review is looking solely at Fletchinder.  So solely looking at this card, it would be extremely good if it were a basic Pokemon because it would have above average hp, and one good move, however since this card is a stage 1 card, it isn't that great and I wouldn't recommend using this card with Fletchling in a deck without using Talonflame.  If you were to use this line in a deck, I would try and get Fletchinder into the active Pokemon spot early since it has a low hp, then use Fire Wing every turn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a below average stage 1 Pokemon card from the X and Y set.  Like I stated in the strategy section of this post, this card has too low of hp for my liking and for a stage 1 card, its two moves are just average.  So I would not recommend using this card in a deck.
