Thoughts on Eco-Dyeing

Today I shared some thoughts on my other blog about why I do not consider myself an eco-dyer.  The studio purge continues and I will share photos and updates throughout the month. It's a great feeling to know that the materials I no longer need to create art with are going to studios where they will be utilized!

Studio Clean Up

Spent the day cleaning and rearranging my design studio. I'm not sure WHY my blog is lining up like this except that someone decided they needed to make me unhappy today! Hoping that this NOT one of the "new exciting changes here at blogger" moves because if it is I'm moving my blogs elsewhere!

Studio Clean Up

Dh and I have been spending time cleaning the attic, laying down new floor, while it snows yet again, all of this cleaning has made me take a hard look at my studio. I no longer have a design wall AND I no longer have a space onto which to hang artwork.

This is NOT a good thing!

SO I'm looking around and trying to decide what I can live without, what can be sent to the attic to live with the bats and squirrels - seriously we have a mammal problem in our attic - and what is an absolute must for my studio. At this point I think it's important to have some of my finished pieces in and about the house so I can see where I have been, and what I have achieved.

Studio Mess

Still cleaning! I'm almost done cleaning my sewing table which has stuff on it again. But the floor is all picked up and the carpet ready to be cleaned - see previous post. Now to find a spot for the stuff on my table and I'm ready to start working on a new series.

Studio Clean Up

:Proof that I've been cleaning my studio - I may actually get the carpet cleaned this weekend I've found so much floor. Those are Angel Spots - caused by one incontinent sheltie
