PPC-CC #76

Good Monday Morning!
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend...now it's back to the daily grind! If you haven't already heard, Color Combo #76 will be our last here at PPC for the 2011 year...click here to read more about it. It really is bittersweet at this time, though. *tear* And we couldn't be more appreciative of all your amazing creations, comments and words of love -- we absolutely LOVE our blog followers!

Future of PPC...

Hello Ladies!

Just wanted to chat a little bit about the future of PPC...

As of tomorrow, Monday, Oct. 24th, PPC-CC #76 will be our last blog challenge, until further notice. We do have some HIGH expectations to PPC and the future, but at this time it is so very hard for us to stay on track with posts, the DT, crafting, etc. And it is not fair to the rest of you! The DT and I are hoping to bring the challenge blog back come the new year and bring it in with a BANG. I think with a couple months off, some brainstorming, new ideas and challenges is what PPC needs. But until then, we'll just have a little vacation from it all. Besides, it is that time of year where the Holidays approach extremely fast and we have just NO time to do anything. :)

With that said, I would like to send a BIG THANKS to all of you who have partipated in our challenges and especially to the PPC DT for their hardwork and dedication. It warms my heart to have such talented and amazing women to craft along with in this blogging world! :) Until then, we can't wait to see you final creations for Challenge #76!!!

On a side note...I'm running a little behind on sending out some of the previous winner's prizes, as well as our recent Follow Me Contest winners....so please bare with me. I've been preparing for my first Craft Fair, which takes place this weekend, so time has been occupied with that. I want to have everything all packaged up and ready to go after this long Labor Day holiday weekend. So packages will hopefully be shipped Tuesday morning. Sorry I've been M-I-A...

Hi All!

I am SOOOO very sorry for the lack of blogging and challenge participation the past week! I have been SOOO stinkin' busy its ridiculous! We're in the process of putting in a patio and repainting the kitchen. And I've been working extra hours at my second job and taking on a Zumba and cardio workout class twice a week! Plus we just got our female St. Bernard, Meisha, fixed so we've been taking care of her, as well. Ahhh no time to breath or craft! :( I'm trying to find time for myself now. lol I'm hoping to have some time later this week to get crafty and post! And I promise that I'll have the PPC-CC #4 Winners posted soon, as well as the winning prizes sent out. Hope all is well out there in Blog-Land! Thanks!

Change of plans...

So I've thought long and hard about this...and I've decided that my challenges will now become weekly, rather than bi-weekly! Yayyy! Aren't you all excited?! Having a bi-weekly challenge seems to go by sooo slowly for me and I get so anxious to see all of your creations. Two weeks is too long!

The last day for PPC-CC #2 Creation Entries will still be Monday, March 8th by 10amEST. The next challenge (#3) will start us off as a weekly challenge and that challenge will be accompanied with some lovely prizes for the Grand Creation Winner!!! :)

I would love to know what you think...I'm super excited about the upcoming changes and additions!  And speaking of additions, have you applied to be a member of our first ever Design Team yet?? If not, I strongly suggest that you do so! You have until Sunday, April 11th, 10pm EST to apply. For more info, please go here.

Welcome to Picture Perfect Creations -- Crafty Challenge Blog! - The new weekly challenge blog...

My name is Megan and I am the creator here, as well as the daily craft blogger of Picture Perfect Creations Blog. Thank you so much for stopping by!

I thought it would be fun to host a color challenge for all of my super creative blogging friends! I know that I have always liked other challenges that I've participated in and there's always room for more, right? This challenge is open to all of my crafty friends! Whether you make cards, scrapbook, knit, beading, paint or anything in else you have to show, I would LOVE for you to join in along with me!

My color challenges will be made up of Stampin' Up! colors, but feel free to use what you have! I dare you to make something creative using our color challenge! All you have to do is submit your name and url blog link to your creation! Right now I'm trying out a bi-weekly challenge, but considering making it a weekly challenge, but that also determines on how many participants I get in my first month of challenges!

I will choose 3 of the BEST submissions and feature them on my blog!--A Grand Creation Winner and two Runners Up! And you, as a crafty creator winner, will receive a button to display with extreme happiness and pride on your very own blog! How fun! :) hehehe Winners will be picked personally by me. I am in no way an expert, so my opinion is just that, an opinion. I try to be fair and I will try to make sure the same people aren't winning each week. Whatever you submit containing the current weeks colors (card, layout, altered art, etc) will be eligible to win.

Make sure to check back every Monday Evening to see the Grand Creation Picks of the Week and for a NEW Color Challenge! I am also considering giving out prizes to the Grand Creation Winner AND there might be a possibilty for a Design Team -- so be on the look out for that, as well!

Any thoughts and comments on all of this are greatly appreciated (...for those of you who already have a Blog Challenge or already are on a Design Team)...I would LOVE all the input and feedback. :) I look forward to crafting and chatting with you all! And I can't wait to see your creations!
