This was a dresser that I used as a child and before that it came from my mom's side of the family... we needed a dresser for Ashlyn and thought it would be cute in her room, but of course with a little face lift. Orange didn't really match her decor, so we sanded and stained it a dark walnut...we are happy with the results, what do you think?

The dresser still needs the clear coat and also the handles need to be put back on, there was also a bench with the dresser that was the same orange color so it receive the same face lift, I recovered the seat with some fabric used in other parts of her room.
I had to add this photo of our little Weston being so "serious"
And our Ashlyn getting her 2nd haircut of her life. she moved lots more this time around!

ok I am not a blog stalker but I figured since you said you have looked at ours I could look at yours! I love the dresser and the chair. great job! I like how you left out some of the knobs on the dresser I think it gives it a chic look.
