Mother Nature's Farm

Last night we went to the Mother Nature Farm to get pumpkins, ride the hay ride, feed a cow and goat, take fun pictures and hang out with the family!! We enjoyed Cafe Rio for dinner afterward...

it was hard holding Weston so that his head would be propped up without hitting his face on the painting! we did our best

This is Kadee (Steve didn't come) and the kids (Kensi, Maeley & Karsen)

This is the rest of the clan who joined us, Adam, my dad & mom, and g&g salmon

Before AND After

This was a dresser that I used as a child and before that it came from my mom's side of the family... we needed a dresser for Ashlyn and thought it would be cute in her room, but of course with a little face lift. Orange didn't really match her decor, so we sanded and stained it a dark walnut...we are happy with the results, what do you think?
BEFORE

AFTER

The dresser still needs the clear coat and also the handles need to be put back on, there was also a bench with the dresser that was the same orange color so it receive the same face lift, I recovered the seat with some fabric used in other parts of her room.

I had to add this photo of our little Weston being so "serious"
And our Ashlyn getting her 2nd haircut of her life. she moved lots more this time around!

Many Blessings

Today was Weston's Blessing Day at church, we had TONS of family there and we really appreciate there love and support!

Daddy with a tired baby boy

These are the men that were in the blessing circle..

These are the Powell boys (4 generations)

Ashlyn did SO well with her headband all morning, but once we got home she had to put her own little "twist" to it! She wore it like this for about 2 hours while our family was over for a brunch! So Stylish!

Our *little* man (almost 2 months)

This is the BIGGEST smile we've gotten so far and of course it's taken with my cell phone which doesn't do photo texting so I had to take a picture of it with my regular camera! LOVE HIM

He's really getting the hang of the pacifier - it definitely helps

Blake's reading him books early, he usually smiles while looking at the pictures!

Had to add this picture of Ashlyn, seriously I don't understand how she can just cover herself in Taco Soup - it was in her eyebrows...hmmm gotta love her!
*PS - she colored crayon on our walls last week, it came off with Costco Wipes - Yay
