Yet...I miss you

You’re not gone yet, yet I miss you & in vain I will resist you
But I’m scared each kiss

Is the last kiss
I’ll ever get to kiss you

Burst

"No Photoshop on this shot, all in-camera... Martine was sitting cross legged on a downed tree in Rocks State Park and I zoomed in during exposure for the effect... It was a lot of fun experimenting to get this!". Taken by estimatd

On Guard!

"If you suddenly came across armed Saxon Warriors fighting in the grounds of the Oxford University Parks on a Sunday afternoon you might be a little worried. Until, that is, you quizzed them and found out that they are members of the Oxford University Historical Reenactment Society, also known as the Wychwood Warriors! Strange, takes all sorts...". Meet the Peat

"Peatlands Park was the first of its type in the British Isles and was specifically established to promote and facilitate peatland awareness and issues. The peat here has been forming for about 10,000 years. The site was acquired in 1978 from the IPDC (Irish Peat Development Company) and the park was officially opened in 1990. Visitors can explore the 265ha (680 acre) site on foot along its many paths and wooden walkways". Taken by Kim Shatwell

In Awe of the Fall

"Finally got a picture of Horsetail Falls in Yosemite after two years of trying. You have only a couple of weeks at the end of February to get this shot and the conditions have to be just right. As you can see it was worth the wait". Taken by Dale
