This month I used the Oakberry Lane Collection. I started with a card front from the paper pad.

I used the sentiment from the Oakberry Lane collection.

I started with a partial piece of the Adorn it Pocket Accents Die and then added the leaf spray, some pretty flowers from the collection and filled in with some of the Petite Floral flowers from the Floral Fashionista collection, along with some sparkly Small Bridal flower stamens. You'll find the links below for all the products.

Wednesday Inspiration with Heartfelt Creations

Sweet summertime with beautiful Backyard Blossoms

Hello, hello, friends.  It's Wednesday!  A very special Wednesday because we get to bring you a new, never seen before collection from Heartfelt Creations!

Summer brings with it the excitement of a new gardening season, lounging in the open expanse of the backyard and enjoying the beauty of favorite perennial blossoms dancing gently in the warm summer breeze! Among those returning favorites are the attractive, butterfly loving coneflower! Bright and colorful, these pretty flowers come dressed in a wide variety of hues and quietly display their domed centers and soft delicate petals against the backdrops of ornamental grasses and other decorative backyard plantings! Come along with us as we welcome back the summer season with a walk through the Backyard Blossoms Collection by Heartfelt Creations! Brilliantly hued, and filled with a good dose of summer sunshine, the fabulous paper collection showcases happy shades of bright yellows, pretty pinks, luscious lavenders and glorious greens and showcases lovely lace like patterns, elegant swirls and bountiful coneflower blossoms! Included in this jubilant and cheerful assembling are three exquisitely illustrated cling stamps sets with coordinating dies ideal for all of your summer themed paper craft creations! From large coneflower images, ornamental grasses, to smaller backyard blossom accents, these dynamic illustrations are ideal for creating your very own dimensional flower gardens as focal points on card fronts or as accents on scrapbook layouts! So grab your lounge chair, slather on the sunscreen and join us as we kick back and relax in the backyard enjoying our favorite backyard blossoms!

I chose to use the Garden's Edge Coneflower as the main flower and then used the Backyard Blossoms as fillers. Summertime and flowers need some birds and butterflies so I used the bird and butterfly from the Songs of Spring stamp set. The flowers in this collection make it so easy to create quick and gorgeous cards or any other summertime project. The paper has bright, summery colors that will bring cheer and smiles to your friends as they receive your beautiful cards. Happy crafting, my friends!

Wednesday Inspiration with Heartfelt Creations

Hello friends! You'll see my format has changed a little. That's because I've been accepted as a full time designer for Heartfelt Creations again. I am so honored and blessed to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing company! I am excited to share their products with you and hope to inspire you as you craft for yourself and your loved ones.
Here's my newest granddaughter. Isn't she adorable? You'll be seeing lots more of her as she is my inspiration.
This card was one of my semi-finalist projects. I used the peony collection. This collection is amazing! The flowers are gorgeous and of course it helps that there's lots of pink and green, my favorite colors! The large flower and 2 pink buds are made from foam paper which you can find at Heartfelt Creations. This was the first time I worked with foam paper and I love working with it! The flowers look so soft. In retrospect, I wish I had made the main flower a little smaller; I'll correct that next time.
