Checking Out D.C.

My family planned one last big trip before Ramsey would leave on his mission. Where else would Mr. America say goodbye to his homeland? Washington D.C.! The trip was a blast, complete with the Gubernick's company and a visit from Aaron and Lauren, who drove up from Richmond. Little did we know as we began the trip that we were getting to know our new home. Eric planned a lunch appointment with a friend who worked for LivingSocial. That lunch appointment quickly turned in to several meetings and an unofficial interview. They were ready to offer him a job on the spot moments before we headed back to the airport! Good thing, because on the way to catch our flight Eric received a call from Rfinity. They were going to be letting all of their employees go in just two weeks. What a blessing to know our family would be just fine during this crazy transition.
