I made a side opening gatefold card, the papers are by MFT and the image is by AALL & Create, coloured with Copics, sentiment by Whimsy Stamps and I added some small gems.

White and Blue

Good Morning Peeps,

 

Well here we are on a Bank Holiday Monday, hope it's a good one for you whatever you have planned, it’s absolutely lashing down rain here at the moment so we won’t be going out anywhere, I think some crafting is called for today.

 

We have a new challenge starting today over on Christmas with the Cuties where for the next month our optional challenge theme will be:

 

WHITE AND/OR BLUE

(and don't forget it MUST be cute and Christmassy) 

I used a Whimsy Stamps snowman image and coloured him with Copics.  I cut a sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and put this onto a circle which I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, the background paper is from my stash and I asdded some die cut snowflakes and a little Nuvo Drops.

We hope you ccan find time this month to join in our challenge and get started on those Christmas cards.

It's Monday and time for the first challenge of the year at Christmas with the Cuties,  I have to say I had a senior moment last week and posted my card a week early and when I realised I had to change the wording on my post and make another card for this week!

Our first challenge is as always Christmas and it must be CUTE with the option of:

SANTA and/or SNOWMAN

Image and sentiment are by Whimsy and coloured with Copics, I fussy cut Santa and stood him on the sentiment.  I used a snowflake embossed background and  a Tonic Scribbled Frame Ring die and added some kraft card snowflakes and glitter.

I used a fun snowman and sentiment by Whimsy, coloured with Copics, paper by Crafter's Companion and I added some die cut snowflakes and gems.

Fairy Mouse

 Good Morning and a Happy 2024

I've not been around since before Christmas, been a bit under the weather and this cold spell hasn't helped, my arthritis has been bad in my knees and I have been having to use crutches to get about, so as it was quiet I decided to have a break from blogging and a good rest.

I am back today as we have our first challenge of 2024 over on Fab'n'Funky where our lovely Chris is hosting with her challenge of:

My card is one I have made for my friend's granddaughter who will be four next week.  (sorry about the quality of the photo, the papers are very pale and the light hasn't been very good for taking photo's)

 

 The image is a Pink Ink stamp, coloured with Copics and I added a little glitter to her wings.  Papers are from my stash, sentiment is a Whimsy stamp, flower is a Lisa Horton die and I added a number 4.

Hope you are all well and have had a good weekend, it's been very wet and dark here all weekend, but while writing this I have just seen the Santa Express steam train go through the village from my window, full of lots of excited children.

 

It's our last challenge of 2023 at Christmas with the Cuties and for this challenge the theme is simply:

 

Cute and Christmassy

 

 

For my card I have chosen this cute little elf stamp from Whimsy, I coloured her with Copics and used a snowflake circle die by Phill Martin, backing paper by Lawn Fawn and a sentiment from MFT and added a few snowflakes.

from a beautiful sunny but very cold Lancashire, I hope you are all enjoying this sunny spell too.

I am here today to share a card with you that I've made for the Christmas Bingo Challenge, I was really pleased that my card was chosen as the winner in their last challenge and this will be the last challenge for this year and from January it will be an All Occasions challenge not just Christmas.

Happy Easter

 Good Morning Peeps,

 

Hope everyone is well and has had some of the lovely sunshine we have had over the past few days, really makes me feel like summer is at last on the way.  I may not be around for a while after the Easter weekend as I am having another eye operation for my glaucoma on Tuesday so won’t be able to use my computer, but hopefully won’t be away too long.

 

Well the Fab'n'Funky Challenge is on it's way today and being hosted by our lovely Sue who has challenged us to:

Use Die Cuts

I decided to make an Easter card using a Whimsy stamp, coloured with Copics, I used an old Marianne die for stem and leaves and a tiny flower die by Sue Wilson and added a centre in Nuvo drops.  The papers are by Whimsy and finished with a stamped sentiment.

Santa's on His Way

 Good Morning Peeps,

I do hope you have all had a good weekend.  Lorna and I went to the Sincerely Yours Craft Show in Leigh yesterday, first show I have been to since covid began, it was nice for a change but there were not as many stands as there used to be.

Well here is the first Christmas card for this year posted for the start of challenges at Christmas with the Cuties where as always your project must be Cute and Christmassy but with the option of Something with a Sentiment.

For my card I used a Whimsy stamp coloured with Copics and paper pieced the sleigh, I fussy cut the image out and put it onto some embossed card, I used some kraft card to cut out the sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and also cut some snowflakes with a Crafter's Companion die and added some white Nuvo drops and some Diamond Frost glitter.

Santa Claus

Another very cold day today but at least some of the ice and snow has gone, I did get out for some shopping yesterday when it warmed up a little but today looks like a day for staying at home and keeping warm.

Frosty the Snowman

Hope you have all had a good weekend, we have had some nice sunshine (not too hot) and a few showers.

My card today is for our new challenge at "Christmas with the Cuties" where for the next month our challenge will be:

For my card I used a cute snowman from Digi Doodle Studios, coloured him with Copics and added some glitter and some shabby white Frantage.  I used MFT dies for the frames, the background paper is by Crafters Companion and the sentiment a Whimsy Stamp.

I think summer has finally arrived here, well we have had three days of sunshine so that feels like summer to me, it’s been lovely sitting in the garden reading and generally chilling out and forgetting about the housework!

Two Little Ducks

 Good Morning Peeps,

I do hope you have all had a good Easter break, we had some lovely time with the family over the past week.  On Tuesday we had a BBQ with our eldest son the weather was lovely and warm, Tuesday this week it was snowing also on Monday and it has been bitterly cold.
