Squiggles and Giggles

Just made this month's challenge at Squiggles and Giggles by the skin of my teeth. The challenge this month is to use Kraft paper, the image I used is Daisy with Flowers from Squiggle Stamps, I coloured her with Copics, and mounted her onto Kraft paper using a photo corner punch. The bp is Basic Grey again onto Kraft paper, I used a MS edge punch to create the border and added some tiny flowers around the image. Finished with some Papermania flowers, pearls and computer generated sentiment.

My DT card for the challenge has been made using
Nina's digi image of "Sunny Bunny", I coloured her with Copics, used Basic Grey paper and added some punched butterflies, ribbon and computer generated sentiment.

Smell the Flowers

My second card today has been made using the sketch from Papertake Weekly, I used a Penny Black image and coloured with Copics. The papers are K & Co and from my stash, the flowers are from my stash and the branches punched with L-Em punch and put onto a pieces of hessian. I used a Martha Stewart punch and added buttons, raffia and computer generated sentiment.

My DT card for this week's challenge at The Crafty Pad, where the challenge is to make a card for a man (Father's Day will be here soon). I have used an Albert image by Debbie, coloured him with Copics, the papers used are All My Memories, HOTP and gcd studios. I added a couple of fancy buttons and a computer generated sentiment. Vivid Greetings


The challenge today at My Time to Craft is "Vivid Greetings" lots of bright colours. For my card I used a Sweet Pea stamp by ching-chou-kuik and coloured with Copics. The paper is My Mind's Eye, I used the Martha Stewart Garden Trellis punch added some Prima flowers and an adhesive stone and finished with a computer generated sentiment.

Birthday Gift


The challenge this week at There's Magic in the Air is "Anything but a Card with a Birthday theme". I made a bag charm and a gift box to put it in, (used a K & Co template for the box) the paper is by Basic Grey and the digi image is "Simple Pleasures" by Nina May (the image is free to use on the challenge blog), I coloured with Copics and added some punched flowers, adhesive stones and a ribbon. This week's prize is shown below:

Bah Humbug Challenge


My second card today is for the challenge at Bah Humbug which is Ribbons. My image is from Sugar Nellie and coloured with Copics and a little Stickles, the paper is Basic Grey, I used a lovely plaid ribbon that I have had for ages and added a computer generated sentiment.

Over the Edge



The challenge this week at The Crafty Pad is to have something "Over the Edge" of your card. The image I used is a new digi image by Debbie, I printed the guitar image twice coloured with Copics and Sakura Glaze pens and cut them out I then put them onto tags cut from some music card added a few more punched notes and piece of string, the sentiment You Rock is also part of the digi image. Paper used are Cosmo Cricket and the plaid is from my stash, I added ribbon and a birthday verse. Our sponsor this week is Letraset, and the prize is a set of five Promarkers.

Bah Humbug Challenge


The challenge at Bah Humbug this week is "Punched Borders". For my card I used a stamp I have had for years it's a PSX stamp which I coloured with Sakura pens and cut out, the papers are by Anitas and Papermania. I used a Martha Stewart stars punch and added a swirl cut on the Cuttlebug, finished with a ribbon and sentiment.

Under the Weather


Good Morning what a gorgeous day it is here in sunny Lancashire, clear blue skies and feeling much warmer, hope it is as good where you are.

My DT card for My Time to Craft where the challenge this week is "Under the Weather", I used a Magnolia Tilda stamp coloured with Copics. The papers are from Kay & Co, I used a Martha Stewart Lace Doily punch, added a ribbon, assorted flowers and a computer generated sentiment.

Springtime Friends


My DT card for this week's challenge at There's Magic in the Air which is "Be Inspired". My image is a digi image by Nina May of There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cupcakes called Springtime Friends I have coloured it with Copics, and cut it out with Nesties. The papers are by Kaisercraft and I cut the corners with a corner punch, I added ribbon some punched leaves, Prima flowers, a pearl pin and finished with a computer generated message. There is a great free digi image on the challenge blog this week to download and use in the Challenge so why not pop over a take a look. Tear it Up


Good Morning, my card today is for The Crafty Pad where the challenge this week is to Tear it Up. I have used an Anna digi image coloured with Copics, the image is available in digi or clear stamp form from Debbie at the Crafty Pad. The papers are Magnolia, Basic Grey, K & Co and some from my stash. I added Prima flowers, roses from my stash, lace, buttons and a computer generated sentiment. I used Nesties to cut the circles and scallop circles.

The papers are Kaisercraft, the flowers are Prima and some from my stash on a piece of hessian with branches cut with a L-Em punch, finished with ribbon, computer generated sentiment and heart on a pin.

Clean and Simple


The challenge today at There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cupcakes is "Clean and Simple" using the Nina's digi image "Softly Afloat", which is available as a free download this week. I coloured the image with Copics and cut it out with a Nestie layered onto lilac paper and white which I ran through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder, added a piece of white lace and a computer generated sentiment.

This weeks prize is a trip to Nina's store to pick an image of your choice.

Give it Some Punch - The Crafty Pad


Hi there, lovely sunny morning here in Lancashire, hope its sunny where you are. The challenge at The Crafty Pad this week is "Give it Some Punch" - use any punched image on your project. My DT card is made using the image of Molly Cat by Debbie of the Crafty Pad, I stamped her onto a shape cut with Nesties and coloured her with Copics and edged around the shape with blue. The papers are g.c.d. and one from my stash, I punched the blue and white flowers with an x-cut punch and added blue pearls, the branches were cut with a L-Em punch and I added some blue roses from my stash. The sentiment was computer generated and I added a blue bow.

Stars and Swirls

My card today is my DT card for My Time to Craft where the challenge this week is Stars and Swirls. I stamped a Tilda image from Magnolia, coloured her with Copics and cut her out and sat her on a star I had cut out with a template with a piece of paper from my stash. The bp is by Papermania, the swirl and photo corners with cut on the Cuttlebug, I added Prima flowers, a pearl and a computer generated sentiment. There's Magic in the Air Challenge


I have been asked by Nina May of There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cupcakes to join her design team for May and June after being a GDT in March and I was very pleased to accept. The challenge this week is a sketch by Olga I have used a digi image of Sammie Shamrock by Nina May of TMITA/PC I have coloured him with Copics and edged the Nestie shape with Versamark Smokey Blue ink pad. The papers are Basic Grey and I used a Martha Stewart edge punch, I added some Prima flowers and a rose from my stash, ribbon, computer generated sentiment and some little coloured circles (can't remember what they are called) from my stash. The challenge is being sponsored this week by "Glitter Babe's Art" and 2 winners will each receive 2 digi stampes from Stef.

Here Comes Summer


Doing well today managed to make another card which is suitable for a few challenges. I used the sketch from Create4Fun used an Anya image from the Greeting Farm coloured with Copics and stitched around the image. The papers are Bo Bunny, I added ribbon, bow, buttons, raffia, adhesive stones and a computer generated sentiment. I am entering this for the following challenges:

Good morning, the weather here is a little dull today but dry, so the Bank Holiday weekend hasn't been too bad up to now as yesterday was beautiful and sunny.
