B Is For Beer, My Dears (Blogging From A To Z)

Welcome to Blogging From A To Z with Pin & Tack.
It's a challenge that requires you to use a letter as your inspiration.

Today's letter is . . .

Do you enjoy an ice cold beer? I do on occasion, especially on a hot summer day. My favorite is Lost Coast Brewery's Great White. And I must admit that I'm a beer snob: microbrews only, please!

However, beer isn't just for drinking. You can use it as an ingredient for bath products & foods along with many other things (including removing brown spots from your lawn!) And you won't need to worry about getting a sober driver when used in these ways.

Did you know? Beer is great for the hair & skin.
Try this soap to get your fix. I did & loved it!

Beer Bread Recipe. Beer makes bread super yummy!
No worries either. It won't taste like booze.

How do you like to use beer? Share it! If you only drink it, what's your favorite?
With blessings & joy, yours truly . . . Corrinne Quinn

Clear It Out Challenge #9: One For The Boys

I am excited to share my first DT project for Clear It Out Challenges!

Clear It Out Challenges focuses on using your stash of craft supplies. You know you have them, we all have them. Lots of various papers, embellishments and other goodies that are just waiting to be used.

Well, now is the time! The challenge is "One For The Boys" and you must use two or more patterned papers.

Our sponsor is Dude Time Doodles, who has hilarious digital stamps! I used one for this project. Isn't he just a riot? Ha ha ha!

Now, since he brought up moonshine, let's chat. Do you like beer? If so, what kind do you partake in?

This card was submitted to these challenge blogs. See below to join the fun!

Vegan Barbecue Bonanza: Beer Lovers Grilled Onions By Deanne

Hi, Vegan BBQers!!! Here’s a delish recipe for BEER LOVERS GRILLED ONIONS!! Yum!
Beer gives these onions a wickedly wonderful flavor! You can actually use cola if you don’t want to use beer. Cola would be the best choice for kids, I would think! Yup! Cola would just give it a sweeter taste than beer.

These take about 30 minutes to cook on the grill.

You will need:
~1 medium to large onion per person
~1 tablespoon of vegan margarine per onion
~beer of your choice (or cola for the kids)
~foil wrap

To prepare:
Peel an onion for each person, leaving most of the bottom there. Make sure your onions can sit flat on the grill so they don't get tipsy (drunk? Haha!) while grilling!! Carve a hole into the onion without piercing the bottom. Place some margarine in the hole and fill with beer (or cola). Wrap in foil and place on the grill. Cook until they are tender.

And who better to put to work at the BBQ than the dad of the house? Ha!Give him a card to thank him for all the wonderful meals he's grilled for you and the kids this summer!!

~DEANNE~
