How I love the Holly Berry House medallion images! The end results are so striking, but the steps to get there are pretty easy. Stamp the image a bunch of times, trim away a little bit more of the image each time, then layer them back together. I worked with the Sun Garden Medallion for today's card and actually started my base layer with only a portion of the full image. All the layers are stamped on watercolor paper and gold embossed with Judikins Detail Gold embossing powder. You don't see the full effect in the photo, but the EP has a really nice sparkle in it, so in real life, the medallion almost twinkles. Very cool! The amazing, vibrant colors on the flowers and leaves are all thanks to the Tombow Markers that I colored with - love them! The medallion is layered onto a Spellbinders Fleur-de-Lis pendant die-cut first, and then a series of watercolor paper layers. I added the lattice scoring using my Scor-Pal. Some rich green silk ribbon by May Arts and little gold pearls provide the finishing touches.
Holly Berry House medallion images can be found at Stamper's Dream, although the Sun Garden Medallion is currently out of stock (sorry!).
