What a day!! Thanks to covid and playing it safe, we got to look forward to Brewer's baptism for even longer! Originally, we had his date set for mid-March, but things got weird for a minutes and we postponed--for nearly 5 months!! The silver lining may have been that we got to have our own little private baptism, not a stake baptism and that made it extra sweet! Brewer was pretty excited and had been preparing, learning about baptism and the covenants you make. We even got a special lesson from the missionaries in our home on baptism, lucky duck! Even more lucky, Brew had both sets of grandparents come to town AND Beth! What a treat. We also had close friends come that made the day even sweeter! Everyone in the family got to help out! Grandpas helped with prayers, grandmas gave the talks, Beth helped with the music and Boyd even got to help be a witness!
These life events are sweet and deep. They make me feel connected to my children and connected to heaven. I am so honored to watch my kids learn, develop their own knowledge and beliefs, and develop and grow their relationship with God. I am a lucky woman to have such awesome kids as well as great family and friends who support and love my kids! What a special day it was for our family!
