Sneak Peek: Teddy's Nursery

You may notice a couple significant points while reading this post.

Firstly, we're naming our son Teddy. Some people think I'm joking when I tell them, but let me assure you, unless that boy pops out and looks like a Harold his name will be Teddy. Teddy Dennis Packard to be exact.

Secondly, you may have seen that there's a crib in Teddy's nursery, which means that Penny is in a big girl bed.  That's right.  My little Peep in a big girl bed.  A legit big girl bed, too.  Twin XL baby!  One of these nights I'll sneak in there and let you have a peek of that too, 'cause that's not something you want to miss.

Thirdly, and most notably of all, I made this crib sheet.

Look how ridiculously crafty I am.

Cheesy? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

Emily (to random guy walking by):  Hey, will you take a picture of us?

Random Guy:  Sure.

Emily (unprovoked): We made a movie!

Random Guy (holding up camera):  Oh.  Smile.

Emily:  It's called "HottieBoombaLottie," this one right here.  You should rent it.

Random Guy (taking our picture):  That's nice.

Emily:  Yeah, this one.  See, that's my husband, Seth.  He likes chocolate, but he's on a restrictive diet so he can't eat it.

Random Guy (walking away):  Bye . . . (under his breath) crazy lady.

Emily (looking at me):  Awesome!

 Penny:  Dad!!!

 First screen, first place.  I haven't been first place since sixth grade field day.

 . . . also, I don't normally pose like that.  I just didn't want to get in front of the picture.  Please believe me.

Thank you to my ultra supportive - often asks too many "how's your movie going?" with me having no updates for you - family and friends.  It's done.

One brother. But now we have to name that single brother. And it's kinda tricky.

So far all the names I've chosen are the nicknames of serial killers (who would've thought that serial killers' moms had good taste in baby names). And the only other recommendations we've received are Nick (short for Nickel), Bill (short for Dollar Bill), and I.P. (short for Investment Portfolio). Can you imagine a little Investment Portfolio Dennis Packard? Yikes. I. P. just isn't gonna cut it.

So, send me your best suggestions and Seth and I will seriously consider them.  What other choice do we have?

October 25th!

We were picked up by Redbox for a national release (holy crap) and Time-Warner Video on Demand (that's the most prestigious satellite pay-per-view/download around --- equally holy crap).  Those are the front-runners that we're SUPER excited about.  It'll also be on Walmart.com (possibly inside Walmarts), Amazon.com, iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, and some other places I can't remember.

Sorry, you'll have to read this all over again on your Facebook in a bit, I'm just so excited I could pee my shorts.

*** Redbox went through LOTS (10+?) of dvd cover options (very important to their business model obviously) and they were insistent on the creepy head picture - which just happened to by my favorite one as well.  Thanks Alisia! ***

...but today my midwife said I'm bigger than what's expected for 14 weeks of pregnancy.
