Been hearing good news from my loved ones the past few days! I feel happy for them...Hmm..now I'm wondering when will it be my turn, to contribute something nice too...
Woah! Its thursday already! The week just zoomed past. Gosh! So much to do at work and with audit coming up tomorrow, I am so not looking forward to it. Its gonna be a long week, gotta be back on saturday for the dreaded monthly meeting. Honestly, I do not have any issues with meetings, except that it has to start at 9am... Lunch would be better though..heh!
Received happy news yesterday, a dear friend of ours got engaged! Woots! Definitely looking forward to attending their wedding party! No date has been set yet, though. But I'm sure it will happen soon.
On the other hand, I decided to indulge myself in a little nail session last evening.
Traffic was really really smooth today....There were not many cars and even the radio announced it was smooth traffic at all of the major expressways....no congestion of whatsoever. Sky is awfully dark now..and its raining badly at some parts of Singapore-so bad that its almost pitch dark!
Psst. Maybe they knew it was gonna be a rainy day, which explains the lack of people going to work today...Hmmm...
So I went for a much-needed haircut earlier on and I was quite sure my stylist was on the verge of labelling my hair as 'H-A-Y'....
Because he couldn't find his regular stylist, he decided to give mine a go. Afterwhich I casually asked if it was a good cut? Of cuz, my dear friend insisted that his regular was much better! I seriously thought it was about the same and at a slightly lower price (with my member discount la).
On the other hand, I emerged from the salon feeling much lighter, great looking hair and I m a happy gal!!
Of medication.... That's helluva lot for what the doc calls it as "common flu"... The cost? $50! Geez.... I wanted to just go back and see the doc later but couldn't stop coughing...sneezing... Also running abit of a temperature... Bo bian....
With the recent economic downturn, one will not be surprised at how 'aggressive' the financial institutions are with their customer acquisition tactics. In short, use your 'future' money... Balance Transfers, Credit Line Increment and so on...
I received a letter from a foreign bank just the other day, with a cheque amount of $2,500... asking me to 'cash' the cheque and use it. Definitely not forgetting the Terms & Conditions. - 0% interest. Hmm... As I read on, there is actually a processing fee of 5%. So I chucked it. Last night, he received a letter from a foreign bank too. He looked over to me and said; How come yours have amount stated and mine don't have? I looked @ the letter and immediately replied; Eh! This one is not same bank lah!
Twitching non-stop since thursday! I initially thought it was some bad omen or something but I realised from the older folks its just me being very tired and having insufficient sleep/rest!
It seems that after 2 days of sleeping a little earlier and indulging in a 2-hr nap this afternoon didn't seem to help..
