My Narrative

One early morning a teenager named Jake moved to his new school. His new school called Apple Berry High. He was going there for two days and made a friend called Austin and met a  girl called Tessa. There was another girl called Rachel fighting Tessa for him but he stayed with Tessa.

One day at school he went to the bathroom and went into one of the cubicles. It led him to a secret palace underground called Azkaban. He was named king because they had not meet anyone as powerful as him. They fed him enough but as he was going to escape. Rachel locked him in there.

As he was in there he found Tessa his girlfriend. They traveled looking for another way out. They began to lose their way back. They came across “HOT SPRINGS”.

The water was lava, but actually it was diet coke. They had drunk some of the diet coke. Tessa had looked up and saw mentos. There was a giant beast on top of this pile of mentos stomping on the to make them fall.The mentos fell into the diet coke and the water exploded and destroyed most of the school. The alarm was set off but they couldn’t get out of this creepy cave.

The next day their parents were getting worried because of the explosion and their kids not coming home. Their parents thought they had died from the explosion. The Police invested in mysterious disappearance hoping to find the children. The parents prayed that their children was ok. Meanwhile in the cave they trying to fight off the beast. As they were fighting the beast a level bar on top of their heads.

Jake had leveled up trying to defeat the beast. He recognized this place in  a game that he played on his phone called The Labyrinth. He had learned another skill called “Sucker Punch”. He used it against the beast. The beast starts to vaporize The see a exit from the premises and a fast exit home.

But there was another problem there was a bunch of hot diet coke in the way. Jake remembers that you can break blocks in the labyrinth Jake see to pickaxes drop out of the beasts clothing.

Jake and Tessa collected blocks to build a bridge. They both leveled up from breaking blocks the both are level 10. Then they built a bridge out and made it back home. All a sudden their levels turned into thousands of money. That was ten thousand for the both of them.

My Edited Piece of Writing

On Saturday I was at my Papa's, Aunt’s, and Uncle’s house getting ready for Halloween. When I saw my Papa he was dressed up in a spooky Zombie he looked so scary. I was dressed up as a purple bat. I was ready for Halloween. Me and my Papa were going around the houses asking for lollies.

Once we went to a different house it was very black and very spooky. My Papa got scared so I told him don’t worry It's just a house full of decorations. There were spiderwebs, bats, and  witch decorations. I knocked on the door and out came a ghost man. The man gave us sweets “trick or treat” I said to them.

Next I went down the road to another house that wasn't as spooky as the last. It only had black spiders and a witch’s broom. I knocked on the door and out came a black witch. She gave us some Chocolates  and Candies.

When we stopped at Kings Road we saw  my friend Zara and her Dad Babu. They were going trick or treating for treats. Me and my Papa were walking with Zara as we asked if  we could  come with them to get treats they said “yes”.

We stopped at the cafe and we had a hot chocolate and a Strawberry Cupcakes. Then we went back down to Coates Crescent  to go to the  other houses for trick or treating.   

We saw another house that was scary. I said “trick or treat” and out came a spider. The man gave us some  lollies and Chocolates . It was fun in Halloween. “Finally time to go home” I said to myself. I said bye to my friend Zara and we both went home to eat all of our goodies.

When we stopped at kings road we saw my friend Zara and her Dad Babu they were going trical treating for yummy treats me and my Papa were walking to Zara we asked could we come with you to get yummy treats they said yes When we stopped down at the cafe we had a hot chocolate and a strawberry cupcake Than we went back down to costs cress  to go to other houses for trick or treating  

When we saw another house that was even scarier I said happy trinkil treat and out came a spider the man gave us lollies  and chocolate it was fun at Halloween. than it was time to go home I said bye to my friend Zara and went home to eat all the goodies .

Yesterday and Today I have been working with Sharon. We had read over a sample piece of writing. Sharon and I had to fix up the mistakes in this work. The original piece of writing that was create by someone else didn't make sense.

	Swimming Pools
Introduction What is my argument? My opinion for or against	I am against having a school pool at Panmure Bridge School because most children don't want it and there could be bullying by big kids.
Reason Other schools Supportive details	In the NZ Herald there was an article that some schools would share their facility with  other schools to get more money for their swimming pool. If I were a principal I wouldn't do such a thing. It’s cheating because you are getting more money than usual because you are dividing the money between two schools.
Reason 2 Money Supportive details	There could be a lot of money spent on the pool when we could spend it on school equipment like basketballs and soccer balls. There could be leaks in the pool that could take weeks to repair and more money to pay. The pool can also get old and might be dirty. It would cost a lot of money to clean it.
Reason 3 Games Supportive details	There could be games that the students like but they get kicked out because they were so excited. They could take the game seriously and hurt someone. Bullying could occur. Bullies could push people into the water and they might hit their head against the concrete which may result in bleeding noses and knees. This would mean the  water would have to be cleaned. Games could cause injuries too. An example of this is playing tag in the water. Students could hurt each other by hitting hard. They could be playing hide and seek in and out of the pool. If they were out of the pool they would stay and they might not go back to class because they wouldn’t know the game was over. There could also be a lot of drowning incidents.
Conclusion	I think having a school swimming pool is a bad idea because I don’t want my school to cheat in money and the games could be dangerous. We could also use the money for other things such as sporting equipment and technology.

ANZAC Biscuit Origns

This is some of the work me and my friend Alex did. It wasn't easy but then it wasn't hard. I liked this activity I would like to do more of these learning activities next term.

Making ANZAC biscuits

When I first took a bite of my ANZAC biscuit I thought I was in heaven. Last Thursday we made ANZAC biscuits they were easy to make and super fun.I had the fun job with my two friends Aung Naing the waiter and Liam the chef and me also a chef. Very fun I got  to get them off the tray with a fish slicer. Pick them up from the bottom and them scrape them onto the plate then my waiter Aung Naing takes them to the class my chef Liam holds the plate while I scrape them off

the tray and then I put it on the plate. Then my chef Liam has to give the plate to my waiter best team ever anyway back in the class they were making the cookies and sending them to us.

The people in class made 2 batches so we had to bake and scrape and walk back and forth it was a hard job but a fun job I liked it so much I did not want to go. The smell of the ANZAC biscuits was fantastic I just wanted to eat them in the kitchen I wanted to be a real chef and taste them… But I did not. I had a good time but now it was time to go back to class. When we went back to class we all had one ANZAC when I first took a bite I thought I was in heaven because they tasted so good.

that I made it kinda blended in but then also kinda beach towel but i'm pleased that I made it sort

2. What did you find easy when you created your painting?

the blending and the sketching surprisingly I thought it       wouldn’t come out nicely but surprisingly it did

3. What did you find tricky when creating your silhouette painting?

blending because I made it kinda look like a beach towel sorta and some of it looks like it has been blended perfectly but i’m not happy with the beach towel parts

4. Who helped you with your artwork?

my amazing teacher miss paton she helped me a lot because she told me what to do and it was super handy

5. What would you do differently next time?

hopefully make it not kinda like a beach towel

we made them and ate some of them but now we are just waiting for who is the best people in the class to get one at the end of the day	because the people that made the ANZAC biscuits were part of the ANZACS family so that's why we made them and that's why they are so special	hungry and great and so excited to eat them

‘I'm having the time of my life’ .As we walk past the elephant (the elephant was fake because it was metal) and into the African animals exhibit there was Zebras, Giraffes, rhino and all sorts of African animals we saw the hippo’s next.The hippo kept on popping out of the water but it to hard to get a picture of it so we moved on to a mysterious bridge that had  a spring bok over the bridge was the flamingos the flamingo looked awesome i wish i could balance like that on one leg.

We went to see a lion just sitting there turning around we had parent helpers with us as well we had Emmy (Alex's mum) Amelia (Juliet’s aunty) Diana (Shailah’s sister) and a teacher miss Linda and we went of to the elephant and then we went back to the lions and then we went past the lions and we went to the turtles habitat well it wasn't really a habitat because there wasn't much to it all it was is turtles box and them eating weeds from the garden

then we went to the pink bottom monkeys the baboons they were so cute because they had a baby baboon it was so cute that i wanted to go into the exhibit and pat it i couldn't help it but … we left it and we moved on to the to the birds we went to the i forgot first name and the parakeet it was eating seed’s it was beautiful i loved it.

the next thing was the lizard’s they were climbing the walls and being sneaky they were camoflage i wanted to see those one’s but they were to steahly then we went to the seals they were show offs they kept on doing tricks near the glass show offs then we went to the penguins they weren’t show offs they were nice little penguins underneath the boat they have there own personal shade shelter they must rich

then we saw the meerkats they were all gone but if you went in the tunnel’s you will see a whole lot of them they were a army force hiding in their trenches they were so cool those were the best i liked them and then we went to the barn to see all the animals that live on the barn there were pigs and all sorts.

then the elephant from earlier came walking down the zoo with a zookeeper it was awesome because the last time i went to the zoo the elephant didn’t walk at all so this was a afternoon stroll or something because that’s awkward it doesn't do that often so that is a winner but not so much because some people saw it before me so thats a bummer

then we went to the orangutans and had lunch after that and then we went to go meet our person that would take us on a tour her name was laura we had lots of fun together we went to see the tigers and they came up to the glass it does not normally do that so thats a winner i loved the tour then we went back to the lizards and after looking at the lizards we stayed there do you know why we stayed we stayed because we were going to feel a dead snake’s body it was smooth then the other side was rough

then we went to the galapagos tortoise and felt a little baby shell it was hard but the tortoise in it past away so that was sad but next we were going to the spider monkeys but they were always funny then the tour ended and we all went to school.

Tuesday march 26

                                                                     ingredients

Step 1. Pour in four cups of Rice bubbles.

Step 2. Pour in one cup of Icing sugar.

Step 3. pour in one cup of Coconut.

Step 4. Tip in 3 tablespoons of Cocoa.

Step 5. then pour 250 grams of grams.

Step 6. then get paper baking cups.        

                                                                   Method

                      Step 1. Melt the Kremelta on top of the stove or in a microwave

 

                      Step 2. place the baking cups on the plates

                      Step 3. pour 4 cups of Rice bubbles

                      Step 4. Measure one cup of Icing sugar then pour it into the the bowl

                      Step 5. Measure one cup of Coconut and pour it into the bowl

                      Step 6. measure the cocoa and pour it into the bowl

                      Step 7. Pour the Kremelta into the bowl

                      Step 8. stir the ingredients together

                      Step 9. spoon the chocolate crackles mixture into the paper baking cups

                      Step 10. put the chocolate crackles in the fridge for three hours

                      Step 11. Take them out of the fridge and the chocolate crackles are done and

Hi my name is Taylor. I like basketball and in my spare time I play Advanced Warfare. Over the holidays I went to my Aunties wedding. It was awesome. There were loud claps, whistles and photos taken.

Back to school this year. I'm 8 years old and in the best class of all. I have a lovely teacher. Her name is Miss Paton. It's a lovely class with awesome computers. I like my teacher.
