House Mouse Promarker tutorial

Hiya everyone,

Just a quick post to let you all know that I did a House Mouse promarker tutorial for the Joanna Sheen Challenge blog with clear step-by-step instructions and piccies of how I colour in my little mice.  I'm not an expert but I hope that you may find it useful!

You will find my tutorial here.

Thanks for looking!

Happy Handy Hippo day!!!

Hiya everyone,

This is my very first step by step tutorial in collaboration with Handy Hippo on-line craft store.  I basically make a card, take piccies at different stages and you can all make the same card yourselves.  Apologies for the not so good piccies - my camera died a few weeks back and I've not bought a replacement yet!

For this project you will need:-

Wild Rose Studio "Fergus with bouquet" stamp
Wild Rose Studio "Candy floss" papers
Circle nestabilities
Scalloped circle nestabilities
Martha Stewart Doily lace trim border punch
Mini butterfly punch
Adhesive pearls
Irridescent glitter

 Step 1

Cut a 14cm square of pink stripy paper and mount onto hot pink card.  Attach to a 6x6 white card blank.

 Step 2

Using a sheet of the green doily print paper, cut off 2 of the corners and place them on the two corners of the card as shown.

Step 3

Using more of the hot pink card, cut a border strip with the MS doily lace trim punch and attch to the card just under halfway down.

Step 4

Cut a 10cm square from the green rose print paper and mount onto more of the pink card.  Attach this to the centre of your card using foam pads.

Step 5

Stamp the Fergus image onto white card and colour him in to match the colours of the papers used.  I used my promarkers as they are my favourites.  Once coloured, cut the fergus out with a plain circle nestabilite.  Also cut a slightly larger scalloped circle nestabilitie from the more of the pink card.

Step 6

Attach the image to the scalloped circle and then fix to the centre of the middle sqaure panel with foam pads.

Step 7

Stamp or print out a Mother's Day sentiment and mount onto pink card.  Attach this to the bottom of the square panel as shown.  Add a few hot pink adhesive pearls to top left and bottom right hand corners of your card.  To finish, punch a couple of butterflies with the mini punch and attach to the card.  Add a little glitter to the butterfly bodies for a little added sparkle.

I really hope you enjoyed my tutorial and that you will try my design out for yourself!  If you click on the Happy Hippo magic button below it will take you directly to their site and place all the main items that you will need to complete this project.  Once there, you can take out any items you already have or add any extra items whilst shopping!
