***By the Sea***

 Hello everyone,

It's time for a new challenge at 

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #535

where we have a theme of

"I Can See the Sea"

This is will be the last challenge before our summer break.

For my entry I've used some much loved design papers from Graphic 45 called
"By the Sea"   As with all G45 papers there are so many gorgeous patterns and I love

how they all coordinate so beautifully. I added some sea shells from my stash then tied rope to 

create a knot.  I finished off the edges of the die cuts by adding coordinating ink to cover the white.

*** Grad ***

 Good day everyone.

Hope you are doing ok.  We are having some steamy weather with rain in the forecast
but it hasn't stopped me from lining up to visit my favourite stores now that the region is in Phase 3.

We still have not been to any restaurants but that is on our list.  It has been wonderful getting together with family and friends though ...almost feels normal.

I have a graduation card for you today.

 I made for this for our Granddaugher who is going off to study

 Engineering at University in September.  

We are so very proud of her and will really miss her frequent visits.

I've used a Pre-Coloured image from LOTV Stamps and Spellbinder Richelieu Square die

**Embossing**

Hello,  It's time for a new challenge at

Hosted by our lovely, very talented team mate Chris who has chosen the theme 

"Embossing, wet or dry"

I've coloured with Copics a digital stamp by SheepSki Designs
SU embossing folder used on one of the layers
 the sentiment has been stamped with VersaFine Clair ink in Chianti, 
embossing powder added and heat set. It has a lovely shine to it.

Christmas at Fab'n'Funky

Hello everyone,

Today it's time for another Christmas challenge, hosted by our lovely N-Eva at

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #517

Yes, I've been shopping again, this time with a purchase of Birch Press Design dies called Trina Snowflake.  This set comes with 3 dies that coordinate to make this lovely snowflake. I've used some starkly blue paper along with navy and gold.  The sentiment is a Memory Box die. Frame from Spellbinder. As is usually the case with shiny makes, this looks so much better in real life.

** No squares at Fab'n'Funky **

 Hello everyone,

Hope your are all doing well.  Weather has changed again so we are back into winter.  
I bundle up and take walks along the lake shore. I did get a glimpse of the snowy owl

 perched up high watching all the folks enjoying the day. Interesting there were no Canada Geese, ..could it be our visitor from the arctic keeping them away?

I've created another slimline card for this challenge. These little gnomes are from an MFT stamp and die set.  I've coloured them with Copics.  The background was made using Distress Oxide ink.  I still need some practice with backgrounds so I'm going to try using my brayer on the next card.

I've used a stamp and die cut from MFT, coloured with Copics and fussy cut her dress.
I did not intend to use yellow when I coloured this image but after pulling out some stencils and Distress Oxide inks the colour  just seemed to fit.   Square and sunray stencil are also from MFT.

 Hello folks,

We have our first challenge for 2021 starting today at

Hosted by our lovely, talented team mate Chris who would like you to create something to say 

"Thinking of You"

I have coloured with Copics and Faber Polychromos Pencils a new stamp for me from MFT
called Magnolia Blossoms. I waited for a sale and am so happy with my purchase.   The sentiment is an old stamp from the Inkadinkado set Nature & Floral.  I've stamped the image and sentiment with Memento London Fog. It gives a softer look than using black I think.
