Please welcome the winners of the October TOUCH OF GOLD challenge!
I'm so very sorry for the delay in  posting their work.
Without any delay...here goes...

Karthika Balasubramanian

I’m Karthikha from K's Kards and Krafts and I'm super glad to be a guest designer at PCM.
Thank you Paru for this lovely opportunity! :)
I am from Tamilnadu, recently moved to the US with my loving husband and darling daughter. Currently, I am a SAHM and crafting has been my hobby since my childhood. I’ve always loved doing something creative and I got it from my mom, who has tried various art forms! However I’m now stuck to Paper crafts – Cards and Quilling. I entered the blog land of crafting a few years back and got to know a loooot of tools, techniques, crafters, blogs, types of crafts and more!! And I’m still learning! You can find my work here,

For this month's challenge 'Thank You', I've made a card using Altenew's Starry Flowers stamp and die set, colored with distress inks and Faber Castell watercolor pencils. The background is a lovely watercolor patterned paper from Dress My Craft. The sentiment is stamped using Versafine Onyx black ink. I've added a few sequins and also some glitter and shine to the flowers using Wink of Stella shimmer to complete the card. For the matching tag, the tag shape is diecut using Crafter's Companion tag dies. The flower is stamped from Mudra's Floral Silhouette using distress inks. It is similar to the card and I've added a matching purple polka dots ribbon to finish it. Hope you like my card and the matching tag! Get inspired and play along :)

September winners post

Hello!
Please welcome
Manisha Ayyapath
the winner of the guest designer post for the September 'Anything Goes Challenge'!
Here she is with some fabulous inspiration for the October 'TOUCH OF GOLD' challenge.

Hello Everyone!
Manisha here!
I'm currently a full-time crafter, having quit my job to take care of my little daughter.
This break allowed me to explore the wonders of the crafting world and now I'm totally hooked :)
My interests very widely-cardmaking,scrapbooking, mixed-media and now I'm even into making home decor products. Recently I started a venture where I sell all the handmade items that I make-The Simple Joys Store.
You can check it out on www.instagram/the.simple.joys.store

I'm absolutely excited to be guest designing for Paru's Card Making Challenge! and what got me more excited is this month's theme- A TOUCH OF GOLD! I just love adding gold elements in my projects-kind of like a weakness :D
so needless to say I had super fun working on today's projects.
So let's see the card and the tag I made for this challenge.

For this I created a background cut file and had it cut on a matte gold cardstock using my Silhouette Curio. Then I had some fun with Ranger's Alcohol Inks and created some backgrounds. I then die cut the backgrounds using Altenew's floral Fantasy 3D die set.
For the center piece of the flowers and a couple of leaves I used the same gold cardstock to add that touch of gold.
I then adhered the gold frame on the card base and then arranged my die cuts towards the base of the card. To balance out the whole look, I added a sentiment-black on gold and finished off the card with some black ink splatters.

Moving on to the tag.
I created a simple tag which features some gold heat embossed from Altenew's Adore You stamp set to add that gold element. I used glitter gold embossing power that lends a different charm of its own.
I then colored the flowers with color pencils and markers. The sentiment is heat embossed in black.
I then added a few gold and black splatters as I just love to do that :D
Attached a brown ribbon to the tag to complete it.

Hope you guys enjoyed my projects and are inspired to play along.

Creations from the winners of the July Challenge

Hello!
Starting this month,
I will bring you some inspiration during the month,
in order to keep the creative juices flowing!

We had three honorable mentions for the challenge last month.
I decided to invite them to guest design for the challenge this month so that they can inspire us with their creativity.

My first honorable mention designer is

Here is what she has to say!

Hello Lovelies!
I am Raga from Perky Hobby!
Im super thrilled to be guesting for Paru's Card Making Challenges 'Family' challenge this month.
Thanks Paru for this opportunity!

I'm originally from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, currently residing in Gurgaon, Haryana, with my husband and two adorable kids (daughter of 6 and son of 3 years). I'm a computer application graduate and I have chosen to be a stay at home mom.
I started crafting a year ago. I love to illustrate and mostly all of my cards consist of my sketches and handwritten sentiments.
I think I enjoy making CAS style cards by incorporating interactive parts at times.
Check out my work at my blog  http://www.perkyhobby.com/, and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/perkyhobby/  and on Instagram @perky_hobby.

Here is my take on the current challenge, using my illustration. (photo inspired from Google)

Rakshabandhan (the festival of Rakhi)
is celebrated to cherish the bond of brothers and sisters.

To make this Rakhi card, I took A2 size white cardstock and created the wall and floor scene using patterned papers.
I sketched my figures, watercoloured them and adhered them on the front panel using foam tape and I gave washi tape to the little girl to mount her little cute brother over the wall for his mischievous behaviour.
I finished the card with a handwritten sentiment.

For the tag, I ink smooshed the background, using the bubble art technique. I fussy cut it and added a handmade flower (from Itsy Bitsy)

for the rakhi and the sentiment to complete it.

I hope you are inspired to join in and play the challenge!
Happy Crafting!

My second Honorable mention GD is
