Wedding, Christening,.....

an album, DT work and two cards sums up what I've done this week which hasn't left me any time for challenges except one which I did last night. I have all the challenges saved in a folder on my desk top so I will do them, just not sure when :)

I had to make a wedding card for DH to take to work this evening and used Kathy's sketch but ~'ve just realised that I didn't use lace, just a punched border! I will just have to make another one now :) I have one to do for a wedding next Saturday. Please excuse the wonky scan, I did it at one oclock this morning and my eyes weren't functioning properly LOL
Materials used are:
papers by K & Co and Papermania
Stamp by Elzybells
All I've coloured this time are the hat band, ribbon on the flowers and the grooms cravat. I used a very dark green fine marker so the card was inkeeping with the colours of the wedding (I know cos I made the seating plan ;))
I shall be back later with more of this weeks work. Wherever you are, enjoy your day, if you have sunshine (as we have) all the better :)

Secret Crafter

The Secret Crafter Challenge blog is up to number ten already!

This week's challenge is a theme set by KIM: -
EMBOSSING - DRY OR HEAT
We would like to see embossing on your creations, dry or heat it's up to you
!
So here are a couple of quick cards I came up with.

Supplies
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Imaginisce rub on
Sleigh bells from Craftwork cards
Ribbon from Ribbon Oasis
DP Anita's Blue Christmas 6x6 pad
Gems

This is the last post for now as I haven't any more work to show at the mo. I'm quite pleased with yesterdays effort though...............I think I made all but two of the cards and the tags yesterday!
Back to work now :) See you later, thanks for looking.

Sketch Saturday

............Challenge #24.

This is another challenge blog I like as they often have me 'thinking outside of the (altered?) box'.
I like this card! The topper was already made on my table so it was just a case of cutting off the corner and building the rest around it. Papers are again from one of the Anita's Christmas pads and are just lovely. There is a gorgeous traditional feel to this pad but it also works well with more modern cards too. Everything else is from my stash.

Santa Claus is coming to town

...........but not yet!! Managed a few more Christmas cards today as well as a seating plan :) I spent far to long on t'internet this morning but my excuse was that I was searching out challenge and sketch sites. It obviously worked because I managed another six cards :)
The first one was for Friday Sketchers ok I'm slightly late but it's the taking part that counts!

Paper is from Anita's Classic Christmas Blue 6x6 pad, background square was swiped with a pale blue ink pad and Cuttlebugged, the snowman was part of the same RAK as before, ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis and the sentiment is from a Sizzlit die.

Secret Crafter 1

When I posted my cards last night I forgot that I had done the first Secret Crafter's challenge too so they are posted back to front :) I made two cards for this challenge also.

Papers again are from the Anita's Christmas Red 6x6 pad. I found Christmas pud ingredients paper when I was clearing out my My Documents folder :) Christmas pud and holly were part of a RAK and the image on the second card is again a download from Sally-Ann and the sentiment on both cards is a rubber stamp from a cheap set from Readicut!

I would love to hear what you think.
