Blooming with Gratitude

This is such a beautiful stamp set. I guess that's why SU named the set Blooming Beautiful :) ! I colored this image with my Copic Markers and added a sentiment from the All Holidays set. In future posts, I plan to share some of my favorite Copic Colors with you. For instance, the flower pot uses 3 of my favorite Earth tones (E15, E25 & E29). We all have our favorite colors, but if you REALLY want to learn about Copics, the expert on this subject is, without a doubt, Marianne Walker ! If you have a Copic question, she has the answer, I can pretty much guarantee it! Her blog, I Like Markers, has tons of helpful hints and ideas. Marianne's blog is the best resource I can give you for learning more about Copics!

I had hoped to post the Calendar Tutorial today, but it's taking a little more time than I anticipated to prepare the post, so it will be tomorrow. It's a great little project you won't want to miss :)
I have a beautiful RAK to share with you....from Angel Wilde (Angelosity)~

She used the Season of Friendship set and that just couldn't be more perfect because she's one of the awesome people I've me through blogging and stamping and I am SO grateful for her friendship! GREAT big hugs and thanks to you Angel!!! Your card is amazing, just like YOU!

A Flower For All Seasons

Happy first day of Fall! Starting things off this week with a few cards featuring A Flower For All Seasons & All Holidays sets. For those of you who know of my ribbon addiction, I'd like it noted, for the record, my cards today don't have ANY ribbon on them! I have no idea how that happened (it's a little shocking, even to me), but it's true. So that just goes to prove, I can indeed make a card without ribbon, lol ;) !!! These first 2 cards are both from the "fall" season stamp~
Don't you love this set? The fall stamp has to be my favorite, because of those little sunflowers and that tiny little ladybug, but the others images are super fun too :) !

Winter...
Spring...
Summer ... What do you think of this color combo? Basic Gray, Green Galore, Summer Sun, Brushed Silver :) ... it's different, but I think it works.
This also seems like the perfect time to share a RAK with you...this one from the fabulous Cami (Stamp a little Love baby)!!! She's got details about some extra special BLOG CANDY on her blog today...you'll want to be sure & check that out (just click on her name). Cami sent me this card for my birthday last month. You can click HERE for recipe for this fantastic card! Her husband & I not only share the same birthday, but the exact same year too! Isn't that cool? We were actually born on the SAME day! What are the chances of that? Anyway, Cami is the sweetest person in the world, love her cards, love her blog, I just love every single thing about her... she's simply AMAZING!! Thanks again Cami...YOU're the BEST {{{hugs}}}!!!
Wishing you a FABULOUS first day of FALL : ) !!! Thanks for stopping by!

Something Simple

Quick post to show you a quick, simple card I made with 2 new hostess sets, called Live Like You Mean It (the flower) & Best Yet ("from me to you" sentiment)! I really like all the new hostess sets, but I'm especially impressed with those level-1 sets! Did you know that when you host a workshop or just place an individual order of $150 or more, you qualify to select $15 in free merchandise PLUS a level-1 stamp set for FREE? Yep, it's true! If you're ever ready to stock up on stamping supplies, let me know & I can help you get some freebies to go with your supplies! It's especially easy now that you can shop 24-7 on-line with SU!!

I also have some great RAKs to show you from last month (my birthday!). I'm finally getting around to taking photos of them & they are so pretty I am very excited to share several of them with you over the next few weeks :) ! The wonderful card I'm sharing today is from Marie at Combat Boots to Rubber Stamps...and guess what? We share the same birthday, August 18th! This is the gorgeous card she sent me and I LOVE it! You can read all about it HERE and be sure to check out the rest of Marie's blog, she has some wonderful cards and projects to share with you!! Thanks Marie, you're a great birthday buddy and I adore the card you sent me : ) ! My little Muffin (remember that bulldog puppy we got 3 weeks ago?) is snarfling, snorting & eating the scraps out of my scrap box, she seems to prefer the designer papers. She is such a good puppy but everything goes in that little mouth of hers!! Here's a recent photo! She has been a TON of fun (and yes, a TON of work, but she's worth it!). She's showing you her best bulldog smile :)

RAK from Nancy

I never get tired of seeing this cheerful little elephant from the Happy Heart Day stamp set...isn't he the best? He arrived in my mailbox last week...a sweet thank you note from my friend Nancy Riley ~ iStamp! I love how she popped his little ear & arm up with dimensionals, as well as the bright, fun colors she used. Here is the card that I CASEd when Nancy was the Feature Stamper at SCS a few weeks ago:(click HERE for more details on this card from a previous post, including suppies used). Another thing I love about the Happy Heart Day Stamp set is that it's not only for Valentine's Day...and these cards are great examples of ways it can be used long after February! HERE'S a link to a previous post to learn how I custom mounted my set to be use-able year round!
One quick trip over to Nancy Riley's blog and I've already added to my wish list! She did a beautiful job CASEing one of my cards HERE....and used the Crew Kids Girly Simply Scrappin Kit. The colors and pieces in that kit are amazing! I've been seeing Cami (stampalittlelovebaby) doing some fun, fun things with that kit...check out her adorable Valentine Mailboxes HERE! Okay girls, you've convinced me, I've got to have that kit!!!
I have some a couple of NEW Elzybells cards to show you in the next few days and sometime this week....there will be BLOG CANDY (woooo-hoooo!) to celebrate my one-year anniversary as a demonstrator with Stamin' Up!! So, be sure to stop by again soon!
Have an AWESOME DAY = )

I've been ELFed = ) !

Guess what came in the mail yesterday? This gorgeous card along with a box of Christmas goodies from my from my SCS Elf...Nancy Riley, aka stampinat6213 on SCS! Soooo cute how she coordinated and arranged all my little prizes with the Dashing DP and my very favortie little Christmas Snowman! She included one of life's essentials...chocolate! BTW, there may have been a few more pieces included, but somehow between the time they arrive yesterday and the photo was taken this morning, they mysteriously disappeared (lol!)...yummers!!! I apologize for marginal photos below...Nancy's gifts are crisp and gorgeous irl...but it's still a dark, rainy day in Oregon, so photos are challenging. I've added a natural light lamp to my Christmas list (pleeeeeze Santa, I "need" it)! Nancy, you're the best...thank you times a bazillion!!! I don't have much time to post...we're doing renovations on our house and an electrician is supposed to arrive any minute and my electricity will be off for most of the morning....so I'll keep this brief! Nancy included this super cute little note pad all covered in Dashing DP! I'll be making my Christmas lists in style = ) !! Check out Nancy's blog, iStamp, for details on this and other great projects!
....the inside! Isn't that fun and festive?

I love this little snowman...how can you help but SMILE when you see that sweet face! He's one of my favorite sets from the, now retired, holiday mini collection. The set Nancy used on her card (in the first photo) also from the holiday mini and also retired. LOTS of great sets from the Fall/Winter collection will be retiring at the end of this month. Just like Santa, you should be checking that list twice...to make sure you don't miss out on a set that is going, going...and soon will be gone! Click HERE to see that Stampin Up retired list!

Hope your Tuesday is Totally AWESOME = ) !
