Monster-sized love

Hello lovely people,

It's Friday and time for my Dies to Die For DT card, which features some of the gorgeous new love-themed release from MFT.

I've used the peek-a-boo heart to create an aperture for my little monster to climb out of; he thinks he's scary but I think he's more cute than scary!

If I've tempted you with any of the lovely supplies I've used then you can go straight to the individual products via the links at the end of my post or just pop over to Dies to Die For and have a little browse around!

Thanks for visiting and I really appreciate any comments that you leave,

Can you see the sparkle?!

Hello lovely people,

All the lovely sunshine we have had in my little corner of the UK has really been lifting my spirits so I hope you have all seen some of it too.
I have almost finished tidying the garden, my tomato and chilli seeds are sprouting up, and the garlic is just peeping through; such exciting times :-)

In my crafting world though it's time for a new challenge at In The Pink and our theme this time is...

MAKE IT SPARKLE

We are delighted to have The Ribbon Girl sponsoring us again for this challenge with a £10 voucher :-)
As soon as you say 'sparkle' to me I think of fairies so that's what I've done!

If you're searching for the sparkle, I added Stickles to all those little spots on my DP - that took a while!  But it does look pretty, even if the camera was not good at picking it up!

There's also sparkle for the fairy dust and along the edge of the wing.

I guess the star charm counts as sparkly too and I've used one of my favourite tricks of tying twine around a satin ribbon.

I finished this quite simply with a few flowers - I didn't want to overshadow the sweet fairy image.

Krafty Chevrons

Hello lovely people,

It's time for a new challenge at Top Tip Tuesday and our theme this time is...

CHEVRONS

We are sponsored by Sweet Stamp Store with a prize of a $10 gift certificate.

So, chevrons... I like chevrons... but after an extensive search of my craft room I came up with precisely zero chevrons :-(
Then I remembered some Christmas paper I had with chevrons - woot!

Every year I say I will make one or two really simple batches of designs to send to most people on my Christmas card list and just a few fancy ones for family.  So far, I have failed every year.

This may be the year I manage it as here is a super simple design with absolutely no stitching or colouring because those are the things that take me ages!

I was dying to play with my new Christmas stamp sets from LOTV; isn't this the most elegant tree?

Card recipe;
DP: scrap from stash
I hope you will pop over to Top Tip Tuesday and check out the fabulous creations and of course, the top tips from the rest of the team.

Thanks for visiting and I really appreciate any comments that you leave,

Challenges I am playing along with;
1.  Simon Says Stamp (use Kraft)
2.  LOTV (anything goes)
