Happy Halloween!!!

Hi everyone! If you celebrate Halloween I am shouting a big Happy Halloween to you! Be safe and have fun! :) I do have a couple Halloween projects to share with you.

The ScrapCake has this cute monster line called Little Monsters that works great for fun Halloween projects.

First up, a card...

I'm all about the fun when it comes to Halloween (rather than dark and scary). :)

I also made a candy pocket...

Aren't those monsters cute?

Well we will be trick or treating tonight and then heading to church for the Halloween activities, it's like a huge party. The kids will be all kinds of happy. :)

Have an awesome Halloween!!!!!

Oct 31

It's the second of the newest releases from Fancy Pants and I am one of the lucky gals that already got to play with it! :)

Here's a peek at the collection:

And you can view the whole thing here.

And here's what I did with it:

I've been really into circles lately so I added a bunch to my layout.

Here are my close up's:

Check out that awesome hat! I love it!

And here is layout number 2:

This paper actually worked perfect for my Halloween pictures from last Halloween because of the spells and magic parts of the line. My pictures themselves didn't look too halloween-ish, so I was happy to have some papers that I thought worked well with them! :)

And the close up's...

And then one more layout...

This was such a quick simple page. I broke up the patterned paper a little and put some orange behind it. Layered my photos and a border then added some circles to the page.

Here are the close up's:

Make sure you check out the Fancy Pants blog to see what the other designers did with this new line.

Have a fantastic day! And come back tomorrow for more Fancy Pants! :)

Helmar Halloween Howler

Hi everyone! Welcome to Helmar's Halloween Howler. :) If you have come from Cathy, then you are in the right place. If you are just poppin' in...why not start the hop at the beginning, on the Helmar blog. You are sure to find all sorts of wonderful and inspiring Halloween and Fall projects.

Today I am featuring a project that uses two of my favorite Helmar products...

I took this Maya Road house that I had and decided to make it into a decoration for our home at Halloween time.

First I painted my house black. Then I glued the chipboard and the candy corn to the house with the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. Those spiders are cut from paper, then I curled them over and popped them up with the Liquid Scrap Dots. I also popped up the skull above the door with the Liquid Scrap Dots. The spider web stuff is actually a used dryer sheet that I pulled apart and adhered with dabs of the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. The tree is cut with my Quickutz Revolution and the orange dots are 3D paint.

Here are some close up's:

There are LOTS of prizes to be won today. Check out the blog and Helmar's facebook page to find out more. But make sure you leave comments on all the blogs in the hop! ;)

Hope you have enjoyed my project. Now it is time to hop on to the FABULOUS Tina!!!
Have a wonderful day!!! And enjoy the hop!

Paper Secrets/Friends With Flair

* Ugghh....Blogger has been driving me CRAZY all morning!
** Scroll down for the My Little Shoebox blog hop...you won't want to miss that one too! :)

Hi all! Welcome to the first ever Paper Secrets Spooky Blog Haunt. If you are just popping in, why don't you start the hop here. If you have come from Tina, then you are in the right place. This is also my Friends with Flair post for the day. You can see the whole list of FWF blogs on the Unity blog.

So we are all sharing Halloween projects with you today. I have some treat bags to share with you...one for each of my kids.

The letters are for their names. :) Those skeletons are from the Bones About Halloween stamp set from Unity. I actually already had them all stamped and put together because of this project. I had originally planned on making a banner, but then after I made several skeletons, I changed my mind, so I used the rest of them on these bags. I couldn't put a skeleton on Eryn's...she needed something more cute, so I put that little cute monster on her's. Here are each of the bags individually:

There are prizes you can win for leaving comments on all the blogs in the haunt...make sure you check out that info here, but I will also be giving away something here on my blog. It's not Halloween....it's Christmas...

That is the "Merry Christmas" line from Echo Park. If you won this, then you could sign up for the Christmas blog hop and participate in that! :)

Halloween Hip Hop!

It's a Halloween Hip Hop...the first of our themed hip hops. :) Today we are all sharing Halloween projects with you. You'll want to start the hop at the Unity Blog. If you came from Jennifer then you are in the right place. :)

So the project I am sharing is something that I made to hang on the front door...

That black web was from some Halloween place mats I bought at King Soopers. Those fantastic skeletons and the "Happy Halloween" are from the Bones About Halloween stamp set. Here's another view of my project:

I used Helmar's Premium Craft Glue to adhere my project together.

And when I was making my skeletons, I made an extra one to use on a layout. Here's my layout:

I also used Helmar's Premium Craft Glue for my layout but I threw in a little bit of the Liquid Scrap Dots as well to pop up a few of my elements. :) Here's a close up....

And there you have it. For today. :)

I do have another stamp set to give away today. :) All you need to do is leave a comment on this blog post and you could win this stamp set:

And now it's time to hop on to the lovely Natalie.

Next Blog

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!

Getting Messy with Tattered Angels

The Tattered Angels design team has been showcasing Halloween projects on the blog this month. Today was my day to post. :) Here's what I came up with...

I dug back a few years for these pictures. Oh how things have changed since then. I used the Halloween Hauntings Glimmer Screens and Glimmer Mist on the background. Then I also used the Vintage Season Halloween Haunting stamp set, a Glimmer Glass owl and more Glimmer Mist on the rest of the page. I even rubbed Slate Glimmer Mist all along the edge of the whole layout.

I adhered everything with Helmar Adhesives. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive for the bulk of my adhering. But I did use the V2 Vellum adhesive spray on the acrylic pieces as well as for adhering that punched fence. The V2 is marvelous for adhering die cuts and punched images like that!

Here are some close up's:

And then here are a couple cards I made, basically using the same supplies:

And finally...in case you haven't heard yet...Tattered Angels is having a DT call!!! I am actually not going to continue on with Tattered Angels. I am looking forward to doing some new stuff. BUT it has been a fabulous company to DT for and I hope you all give it a go. Here's the info:

Wait...isn't it Christmas time?

Why yes, it is, and I seriously have all these ideas for Christmas projects that I want to do and post, but I also want to post the other things I have done too. :) So yes it is Christmas but I am posting Halloween. This is a layout that I made for the Scrapbooks Etc . challenge here. The challenge was to journal creatively. I just decided to journal ON my title...and my title is bare chipboard letters. Anyways, here is what I did:

There is still time to do the challenge for Scrapbooks Etc. It is due Dec. 8th.

Everything on this layout is from Rusty Pickle: the papers, the chipboard...the trim.

Next week I hope to start Christmas stuff. :)

Have a fabulous Friday!!!!!
