Easter Fun

Well it's almost Easter and I have some fun Easter stuff to share as well as another GIVEAWAY!  Yep...another one...isn't that fantastic?

First though, I want to announce the winner for the Book Cover Inspiration challenge....

Svetlana V!!!

Thank you so much to those that played along!  I want to do another one soon too...but I am hoping for more participants...so I'll have to figure that out.  Svetlana, send me your address to pamelacy@msn.com and I will get this mailed out to you.  :)

AND don't forget about this giveaway, it is still open and you don't want to miss it!

Now on to my new projects.  They all use the fabulous Cotton Tail collection from We R Memory Keepers.

First up, a layout...

I am really happy with the way this one turned out!  :)  The pictures are from last year.  Last year at this time, it was a bit rough...we had a whole lot of personal stuff going on with our family, and frankly my head wasn't in the right place.  Proof: I didn't take any pics of the kids. Anyways, so Kelby did manage to take a few pics while he was with them in the morning and I used them.  They turned out lower quality but I knew I wanted to still scrap this, so I just made them all pretty small.

Here are some close up's of my layout:

And then I actually made this one a little bit back for an assignment and CHA, but I hadn't posted it yet:

That picture is pretty old...that is Eryn and her first Easter.  Here are some close up's of this layout:

And then I also have a card to share...

Isn't it a fun collection?

You wanna win it???

:)

UP FOR GRABS:

And here's how you can win: Leave me a comment on this blog post. :) It's as simple as that.

I will also offer extra chances to win by doing the following:
  • If you are already a follower of my blog or have just become one, let me know. Just leave another comment on this blog post letting me know that you are a follower (old or new) and you will automatically be entered in for another chance at the giveaway.
  • Share this giveaway on a blog, facebook, or another website. Leave me another comment on this blog post with a link to where you shared it and you will automatically be entered in for another chance at the giveaway.
Hope you are having a fantastic day!  :)  I will draw the winner and announce on Friday...just in time for Easter.

Again, thanks for stopping in!

Still not feeling it...

but I made a card.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much I like it (love the product, just don't like how my card turned out).  I know that happens to other people, which is why I want to be honest about it.  We all create stuff that doesn't live up to the idea we had in our head.  And that's ok.  We move on.  :)

So the card was done for sketch 122 over at Skipping Stones Design.  It uses their Grey Hares stamp set (I am hoping to use it again soon because the stamp set is really cute and I want to make something I really like with it!) and it uses papers and die cuts from My Little Shoebox.  They come from their Lovely Day collection.

Here's the card:

And here's the sketch:

The sketch was created by the fabulous Dina Kowal.  I hope you take the challenge and play along with us!  *You do NOT have to have Skipping Stones Design stamps to play along!*  Play along here

And you don't want to miss out on what the rest of the team did with this sketch, check those out here:

And our guests for the month, along with Dina:

So, like I said, I hope you play along with us!  :)

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY EVERYONE!!!!
Have a fantastic day!!!

The Big Book: Day 5

We are on the final day (day 5) of me sharing my layouts with you that made it into Memory Maker's "The Big Book of Scrapbook Pages". Today we celebrate Easter. :)

The Big Book, Layout #5: "The Eggs"

Awww...it uses papers from Rusty Pickle, who is sadly no longer around. :( I miss them, and I miss my RP gals.

Man, this layout is so simple! I really love how the photos are the focal point and they aren't overpowered by embellishments.

Here are some close up's:

To make sure the letter stickers stayed on, on top of the lace, I just stitched through them with my sewing machine.

Thanks for stopping by today!!! Hope you have enjoyed all my layouts that made it into The Big Book! I have had time now to look through the whole thing, and it really is packed with ideas and inspiration! You can buy the book on amazon here.

Have a wonderful day!!!!!

Lookin' Fancy

I got admit...I think it is SO adorable when kids dress up. Little boys in suits....love it! So naturally, I enjoy our Easter tradition of dressing up. I don't like dressing up myself so much. But I LOVE dressing the kids up. :) Here's a layout I made with them looking all fancy. And fancy this...I used Fancy Pants Designs for my fancy layout. :)

I did this layout for the Helmar blog post today. I used Helmar Premium Craft Glue to adhere everything. I used the same glue and covered my large heart with it. Then I laid my yarn over the heart...just laid in on top of the adhesive. Here are some close up's:

You want to know a secret...I totally over-inked my "You" stamp so when I stamped it I smudged ink in the middle of the y. That is why I placed a heart there. :) Just being honest.

If you want to learn how I made that bow...check out the Helmar blog today. I will post directions there....it's super simple.

Here are all the Helmar preferred partners I used on my layout:

Hope you have a wonderful, fantastic day. :)

Helmar and Lily Bee

Yuck...that is how we've been lately. First, Eryn was sick, then hubby was sick, and boy did it ever hit me last night...yuck. But I wanted to hop on here and post because frankly, the things I need to post are totally piling up. :)

Here's a layout that I made for the Helmar blog. Last week Helmar was patnering with Lily Bee Design, so I got to use some of their beautiful papers too. And their rub-on's are fantastic!!! Anyways, here's that layout:

I adhered everything to the layout using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive except the fabric swirl, which I adhered with Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to make it pop off the page a little bit. The papers and rub-on's are from Lily Bee Design.
Here are some other Helmar preferred partners that I used on this layout:
  • Buzz and Bloom--The fabric piece (LOVE this!!!) and the chipboard hearts are from them!
  • MyStampBOX--The eggs are a stamp from them.
  • Tattered Angels--I sprayed Glimmer Mist on the chipboard hearts. :)
Here are some close up's of my layout:

And I wanted to pass along some info...

Unity Stamp Company is starting to share sneaks of their new stamps for CHA. They are sharing them on their facebook page and you can win them too! Today is day 1 of 15 days of giveaways!!! AND there is a chance to win a $100 gift certificate! So...if you are not yet a fan of Unity on facebook...head on over (and you can tell them I sent you)!!!!!
