Feelin' Lucky :)

Hi everyone!  Thanks for stopping in today!  Well I've been having a bit of fun with my Lucky 8 punches from We R Memory Keepers.  :)  They totally rock!  Today I am sharing a layout that uses the same punch in two different ways.

I used this punch:

to create this layout:

I really love the way it looks when you just punch the holes without the scallops (inner cut)...so unique and fun.  But I did also punch a paper with just the large scalloped circle (outer cut).  I cut the middle out some so it was easier to make the whole thing a little smaller to fit under the punched circles.  Then I folded it to create the fun look on the layout.

All the papers and embellishments come from the fun Baby Mine collection from We R Memory Keepers.

Here are some close up's of my layout:

She is just adorable...my first neice, the kids' first cousin.  I am so incredibly happy for my brother and his wife.  :)

Hope you have a FANTASTIC day!!!!

It's New and It's Fancy! :)

Have you seen the newest release from Fancy Pants Designs?

It's called Baby Mine and you can view the whole collection here. It is so awesome!!!!

I played with it some yesterday and here is the layout I made:

I really can't wait to play more with it! Such a cute collection!

Here are some close up's of my layout:

So Eryn has 4 babies that she carries around with her. She's already got some mothering skills. I love it! I think it is so adorable. :) It's one of those things I want to remember. Even the boys think it's cute.

Well our first full week of summer break comes to an end...and it went pretty good. Next week things start getting a little busier with VBS, and then the week after that swim lessons start. Our garden is doing really well and we have been enjoying time outside. I love summer (break...since it is technically not summer yet).

Have a wonderful day!!!

Scrap and Stamp Saturday

Hello everyone! The challenge at Scrap and Stamp is up. The challenge this week is to make a hybrid page. Use your computer in some way with your traditional scrapbooking. :) One super easy way to do this is to use a digital stamp. Just print it out, color if you want, and add to your layout. Stamping Dragon Designs is our sponsor this week and they provided the DT with some digital stamps as well as a digital kit to play with. Here is the layout I made for the challenge:

Close up's:

I paired the digital elements (which I just printed out on cardstock and cut out) with some new American Crafts goodies.

And while you are at the Scrap and Stamp site don't miss the tutorial on adding digital elements to a paper layout, by Lacey. That's something new Scrap and Stamp is going to do...having regular tutorials as well as the challenges.

Have a fantastic Saturday everyone. We are off to basketball and then we have a birthday party this afternoon. :)

Scrap and Stamp Saturday

Good morning! The challenge at Scrap and Stamp this week is to use the following sketch and make a layout. And of course, you need to use at least one stamp on it. Here is the sketch we were given:

And this is the layout I made:

Our sponsor this week is Stamp and Create. We got to play with some brand new stamps from Wags n' Whiskers. That adorable girl holding the bunny on my layout is one of their new stamps! I just love it! And those papers are from Bo Bunny. :)

Ok, have a fantastic Saturday!

Scrap and Stamp Saturday

The challenge this week at Scrap and Stamp is to make a monochromatic layout that includes stamping.  So what color did I go with?  Well pink of course.  :) So here is the layout that I made for the challenge, it has a lot going on:

Man....Eryn is so much bigger then that now.  :)  Here are some close up's:

The papers are from Websters Pages.  I also used the "Unforgettable Moments Collection" from Unity Stamp Company (it is their current scrapbooking kit).  And then of course, I added some fun flowers and pearls from Prima.  Then I found a few other pink things to add.

I hope you play along with us!!!

Have a fantastic Saturday!  I am off to take my six year old to basketball practice.  :)

My Little Shoebox Layouts

Ok, thought I'd pop in here and share my December work for My Little Shoebox. I know everybody is very busy this time of year. So I will make it quick. :) This month I got to work with the "Little Ladies" line from My Little Shoebox. I absolutely LOVE it! Here's what I made:

And just in case you can't see it on the layout, I thought I would also post the picture so you could see that I captured the spit coming out of Eryn's mouth! :)

Click on any of them to view them larger. My Little Shoebox is busy busy getting all the new lines ready for CHA in Jan. Sneak peeks start on Jan. 1st! :) So stay tuned for that.

Have a fabulous Wednesday everyone. Christmas is almost here! Maybe you are even already in the midst of the celebrations. :) Enjoy!

SSCC 8

This week at Stampin' Sisters in Christ our scripture verse is

Jeremiah 1:5:
"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb."

Isn't it amazing! Take a moment and think about God...our sovereign Lord...who created the world...who is able to do all things...our MAJESTIC Lord, the King of all kings! Now think about us...little old us. Just the mere fact that God knows us at all is AMAZING! And believe me...He does! HE KNOWS YOU just as He knows me. He sees us, He loves us and He knows us like nobody else can. And He knew each one of us before we were even born. HE is SOOOO good!

The Challenge

The challenge this week is to make a baby card or other item for a new baby or expecting parent. This challenge came at a perfect time for me. I have a good friend who is going to pop any minute. :) So I made a gift bag to take to the hospital when he does arrive.

The papers I used are from Pebbles, Inc. and the stamps are from Unity Stamp Company. Here are some close up's:

I do hope you choose to play along, you never know when you may need a baby card. :)

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Another Layout

Too little time...too much to do. I still have to go school supply shopping for Austin. Do you think everything will be gone? I keep hearing people talk of sending their kids back to school like it has already started where they live. Austin doesn't go back until Aug. 24th. Not sure about the other schools around here. Is that late compared to everyone else? This will be our first year of all day school...he is in first grade. And we are totally going to have to learn to change our schedule. See, I know I'm lucky....we usually sleep until about 8am. Last year Austin's kindergarten was in the afternoon, so it didn't change things up that much for us. This year is going to be different. We are going to have to get up early and get ready. I'm actually a bit nervous about it, but I know we'll make it work.

So here's another layout I made for the Make It Yours challenge over at Scrapbooks, Etc.

Hope you all have a fabulous day!!!!!!!!!

ScrapLovers Reveal with My Mind's Eye

So I got to play with the new stuff from My Mind's Eye for ScrapLovers.  And, I gotta tell you, I love it all!!!  Here are my first two reveals (there are more to come):

I decided to compare baby pics for my kids.  :)

The tabs lift up to reveal who the baby picture is of:

And this one is of Grace.  She is a friend of the boys...in fact, they fight over her.  When she was over here last we got some pics of her because they all had been rough-housing and her hair was just sticking up all over the place!

Close up of flowers:

I had fun with these and it felt really good to scrapbook again.  :)  I know, it hasn't been that long, but it is my creative outlet...I need it.  You can find all of these papers and die cuts from My Mind's Eye in the ScrapLovers store here.

Poor Austin

I've got a couple more layouts for you.  :)

This picture is one I have had forever.  I have really been thinking about it lately, with a new one coming soon.  I wonder how the boys will react this time.  When Hayden came, Austin had a hard time.  He just didn't want anything to do with it.  He came to the hospital, saw Hayden, and then wanted to leave.  :(  Made me a bit sad, but I totally understood.  I think this time around Austin will handle it very well, but Hayden will probably get really clingy and needy.  I will just need to make sure he gets as much love as possible from me.

And this was just a fun one...

Most people might not use these pictures for a page...but I just loved them, because they are real!  That is what happened when we got to Austin's first day of school.
