Butterfly and heart.

Hello friends and visitors.. made this card today, in this extreme heat!!! wish my craft room was the other side of  our house..from dinner till the sun goes down I have the sun blaring in, roller blinds don`t help much, ought to get more black out blinds like we have at other windows..well enough of me complaining..on to my card.

I wanted another go at this Concord & 9th.. Butterfly Card Dies. does make a fastener on a gate fold card front..  I just wanted the butterfly in coloured glitters.

I watched  Dave from Memory Box doing this technique http://davebrethauer.typepad.com/outsidethebox/2017/03/glitter-inlay-technique.html 

I have mixed Martha Stewart Glitters and Micro Beads in the similar colours.

The out line butterfly has no cutting edge, I hand cut with scissors after applying onto the plain sticky one..

  

Butterfly and Rose Heart I have used..


I made a square 6" x 6" with Creative Expression.. Pinpoint Noble dies..Then used an old Little B. heart to cut the heart shape, as this Rose Heart cuts as shown.I doubled up to create depth, leaves coloured with pro marker.

Inside the heart is embossed card, using  Darice "Wire Fence. embossing folder.
Alexandra  Renke "I believe In You"  also glittered.  and Poppystamps Bow & String, This with the two hearts I have used  Dress My Craft.."Sparkling Dust" 

Hope like me you like this technique using assorted coloured glitter.

Rose Heart.

Good morning friends and visitors.

My card today using this pretty "Rose Heart" by Yvonne Creations.

This Rose Heart shape cuts out and leaves the negative behind..

I cut a Tattered Lace.. Pin Dot Heart first, then placed this Rose Heart onto the shape and cut this..

I then have cut three more from this die, to give this frame dimension layering up.

Using 3d foam tape I have layered onto pink and white hearts.

Decoration in the heart.

Poppystamps. Stitched Bloom Trio..flowers..with Freida Leaf.. Love Heart "Scribble Love Heart" back onto Memory Box..Open Studio "Glorious Heart".

Finished with Bow.

Boarder.

Pink card strip,  die cut xxx "Delicate Stitches" this die does not  cut on the edge..has been used top/bottom/sides

Bow and Sting to finish.

Tag Card.

Good afternoon friends and visitors, welcome to new followers, thank you for joining me.

Card size 6.1/2"x 5.1/2" using Sue Wilson. Noble Pinpoint Rectangles..

large tag shape from  a set by Tattered Lace "Shabby Offset Tags" I used the outside shape.

I have embossed this with Crafters Companion.. "Dotty Clouds"  bit disappointed with this folder! pattern is very faint..

Poppystamps "Hip Little One" in blue card with bootee`s I cut from the corner die, adhered onto Poppystamps Stitched Circle.

Yvonne Creations "Rectangle Frame"  has been cut in blue card, this I used 3d foam tape for dimension.

I used this "Shoe Corner" along the top with  String Bow, 3d the bootees in white card. lace`s coloured with distress marker.

 Finished with glitter/ gems.

Dandelion Border

Good evening crafty friends and visitors..

Hope you have had our glorious weather today..beautiful hot sunshine..

I have been crafting, I wanted to use this Dandelion Border I have had a while. 

I only cut one border and coloured with Distress inks using my blending sponges..
My frame measure`s outside edge 6"x 7" inside to fit the Dandelion border 4.3/4"x 5.3/4" I have use Creative Expression, for Sue Wilson ..Shadow Box Collection  B .
This is the card size 6 x 7 .

I have coloured the back panel with distress inks , then using Memory box. "Swirling Stitches"  to add a bit of detail. finished with some tiny butterflies from my bit box....Poppystamps Butterfly Sprinkles.
Sentiment by Inkylicious, using Archival ink Watering can.

1st Birthday...

Good morning friends, followers and visitors...Welcome to new followers! thank you for joining me.

Card size 7"x 5.1/2"

Simple First Birthday card.. white card has been coloured with "Rose Pink" Pro Marker Pen.

I started by embossing white card with my Sizzix embossing folder (from a Christmas set tow folders) Brenda Walton "Be Merry" 658749 set , added colour to white card with pro maker as shown.

This cute "Rocking Horse" from Yvonne Creations. fits perfect in the oval.

This I cut and coloured while still in the cutting die.

Die I used.. Oyster Paper crafts    

White seam binding I also coloured with pro marker to match the card.

I tied a double bow with my "Zutter bow Maker" wrapped around the corners, used red strong DS tape to hold on the back, this I added to a larger card size.

Under the bow,  tag from my stash, Memory Box number 1.. Tattered Lace "Its Your Birthday" die these are a mix of long sentiments.

Finished with a few sparkly gems..

Blue Train for Baby Boy.

Sorry been missing! I have been really busy.. have tried to keep up with you all in my reading list, sorry if I have missed anyone.

I made this card yesterday Sunday, I started by cutting in white card  this lovely shape from

  Amy designs " Christmas Card Set"... 

Memory box   "Starlit Breeze"  has been used  above the train to look like steam .lol.. 

Yvonne Creations.."Train"   cut in blue card and coloured with red pro marker while still in the die, Alphabet Creations  for Baby & Boy.

For the rail track I have used  Memory Box ..Open Studio set.. Open Spaces..  this is a fence die lol.

This topper I put on the larger size shape in white.

Stitched stars ..and Ribbon Teddies  to finish..

Made this New Arrival  card today, I wanted to use this lovely Elephant Corner die..

Another one from Yvonne Creations "Tots & Toddlers" Collection.

Nice change to use some of my papers, Dovecraft .. Back to Basic 11.. 6"x 6" pad.

This is the corner die from Oyster Paper Crafts  

I cut complete die in  white card and adhered just the elephant to Lilac & white spot paper. cut around with my scissors. 

 Heart  cut with the die, then using quicky glue pen, I sprinkled purple glitter on, paper pieced.

Main card I used for the cuts Sue Wilson "Shadow Box Collection"  "Stitched Lattice Frames" A/B

Lovely Stitched detail with these dies.

Card for Tots or Toddlers.. Toy Frame by Yvonne Creations. 

Small children love colour on cards, this sure has plenty lol.

Frame measure 5" x 5" so makes a good size square card. 

I coloured these adorable toys with pro markers/distress markers. 

Two Cutting dies I used..Frame on the left Toy Frame Wording I used in the card centre Alphabet Creations..

I used foam tape on the frame to add dimension, placed onto Jade blue card..bright yellow..

Border is old EK succsess  123 ABC.

Finished card size 6"x 6"

Hope you have this sunny mild day to-day, they say it`s going to get cold again! so no Spring as yet.

Today`s card.. using Yvonne Creations.. Spring-tastic..

Beautiful corner or Frame! 

I think it makes a very special card..hope you do too.

This is the Corner used.

& the pretty dainty Foliage 

To make my 3/4" frame, Creative Expressions..Pinpoint Squares.

7" x 7" outside die and for the inner 5.3/4" .

Adhered these four corner dies along the frame as shown, using cosmic shimmer pva glue.

Next using foam tape to raise this frame onto dark Lilac card.

My Sentiment is from Inkylicious an A4 sheet from Create & Craft (2013) they are large Simply Said  clear stamps.

I have used Hero Arts  "Vintage Ombre Pigment Metallic Ink"  

Stamped onto Memory Box..Open Studio .Stitched Scallop Circles - Stitched Circle Layers.

Arranged my Floral arrangement and bow as shown..

Finished card 7"x 7"

Hi crafty friends, followers and visitors, sorry been missing a few days! been so busy this week.


 This card would do for a few occasion  although I coloured the bird "Robin" colours, first time I have used "Brushos"  impressed how you can paint with them!

Tutti Designs Bird Song Chorus 167, I cut two for dimension, also one extra bird which I used the brushos on. this I have layered up onto a dark blue card circle has  text on & a pattern on. old from my stash.

Frames behind this are cut with Yvonne Creations "Holly Jolly Card Set" dies used two smaller dies from the set ..Also from the same set "Music Notes".

Main card 6.1/2" square using Sue Wilson..Noble Pinpoint Square dies, smaller one embossed with.

As the background for these images, with white pearl drops.

 You also get three card shapes I have used the largest & smallest to create a frame..
I adhered this to Sue Wilson..Noble Pinpoint Squares..Finished card 7"x 7" .
