Here is a picture of my latest finished quilt. This is a pattern from Jelly Roll Dreams by Pam and Nicky Lintott, pattern designer Brenda Sanders. I titled my quilt Log Cabin in the Round. This pattern in their book has a black background. I used a light background as I wanted a brighter look to the quilt. It was a challenging pattern for me, not the sewing part but the keeping the fabrics in the correct place part.
I like so many of the patterns in Pam and Nicky's books as they use mostly precut fabrics. I enjoy using precut fabrics like Jelly Rolls (or fabric rolls), 10 inch squares, charm squares, etc. I like the fact that these fabrics contain all the different fabrics from a particular design line in the packets. These fabrics will usually play well together since they are from the same design line.
