Down at the farm!

Afternoon Folks!
I was away yesterday and ran out of time to this post in advance for the new challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenges.
As usual ANYTHING PENNY BLACK GOES
The optional 'Extra' challenge this time is
BLACK, WHITE and ONE OTHER COLOUR

I chose red as my additional colour and went for a CAS card with this fab farmyard scene. The stamp is called ".. to you" (2610K), I love the cow's expression and that bunch of crazy chickens!

I do hope you'll pop over to the main blog, just click on the picture below, to see the fabulous cards from the rest of the design team.
We're also looking forward to seeing your entries, we are generously sponsored by
The prize is a $20 voucher.

Fresh baked Cookies?

Morning Folks!
We are into July and I'm feeling that summer has arrived, nearly the end of term, Wimbledon on the telly and finally some decent weather!!

The new challenge is just starting over at Penny Black Saturday Challenges , as usual ANYTHING PENNY BLACK GOES
The optional 'Extra' challenge this time is

FOOD AND DRINK

I have used a really sweet stamp from the PB T for Transparent Happy Critters set for a very CAS card:

I wonder if mice have bake off competitions??

A mad trio of critters!

Morning Folks!
Yippee, it's a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, I'm not planning much - hopefully just a nice chilled out break! I do have some tidying to do in my craft room. I'm doing some serious downsizing of my papercrafting stash but in sorting things out I seem to be ending up in a bigger mess. I have some House Mouse and other stamps listed here on Ebay so hoping they sell, it would be nice to think they are going to a home where they will be loved and enjoyed - not just gathering dust!

If you're looking for something to do, the new challenge is just starting over at Penny Black Saturday Challenges , as usual ANYTHING PENNY BLACK GOES
The optional 'Extra' challenge this time is
MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND

I was a bit pushed for time this week so I passed on the optional extra and went for the Anything PB goes theme. I used a stamp which I bought last summer but that hadn't seen ink until now, this cute trio are from a T for transparent set called Cheerful Critters. I had a hunt through my scrap paper folders (that are once again bulging at the seams) and just added a quick die cut sentiment by cut and make from The Range.

Look at this mad trio - not a seatbelt in sight!!

Daisies for you

Morning Folks!
A quick post from me, just to let you know we are starting a new challenge over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges. This month we would like to see your
CLEAN AND SIMPLE designs
Here's my card, using one of my favourite LOTV stamps of all time - Armful of daisies which I think has now been discontinued :-(

I love colouring up this cutie which is fab for so many occasions, the sentiment is from a Julie Nutting stamp set.
I tried hard to step away from the embellishments but I couldn't resist adding a few tiny gems:

Please visit the main blog

to see the inspiration from the rest of the design team!

Thank you so much for visiting today and for any comments you're kind enough to leave xx

I'd also like to enter the challenges at:
Word Art Wednesdays - Anything goes
Crazy for CAS - Cuddly
The Corrosive Challenge - Anything goes
Stamping Sensations - Anything with flowers
Aud Sentiments - For a friend
Creative Knockouts - Anything goes
CRAFT - Mother's Day or Female
Cardz 4 Girls - Stamping
As you like it - Favourite way to add a sentiment and why - I'm going to say stamping because my collection of stamped sentiments is a lot bigger than die cut sentiments. I have just got a stamping platform which makes the process of adding a stamped sentiment less nerve wracking!
