It's crazy to me that we have applied to our last "four year" increment, Residency!!! Landon and I met his freshman year of college. So we've done four years of college together, almost four years of medical school and soon 4 years of residency. This road has been long and sometimes really hard, but so so so rewarding. Our BYU years are only looked upon with happiness!! It's where we met, fell in love, made a home, made our first baby ;)! Even now, some parts of our med school years seem so long ago. And we only look at them with fondness! We spent the first 2+ years trying to get our Ty here and now he's here and I just can't believe it!!! It's so so sooo crazy to me that it ends in 7 months. It feels like it's going to go by so fast and honestly, I just want it to slow down. Just a little.
Landon
He was nervous submitting his application. It was cute. He got his first interview from Yale. He got his board scores back and did really well! He only has 7 more rotations to complete until he graduates. But right now he's enjoying his vacay month. Oh and we ran 6 miles Saturday. Longest Landon has ever run. He is full of accomplishments this week.
Becca
I've loved being in Utah! I got to see my sweet grandma who is suffering from dementia! She loved watching the BYU hale mary with Greg Wrubell. I love being with my mom!!! I don't know if we will ever end up in Utah so I cherish every moment I get with her.
Jax
Has been able to play with cousins. We all got stuck in the craziest ran storm and a sweet boy was willing to get soaked just to help us keep Jax and Ty dry. He has loved nana reading ChArolettes Web to him. He loves Ty more and more every day! I feel honored Heavenly Father is allowing me to be able to wAtch them grow together. I hope I can do my part to facilitate positive experiences.
Ty:
Is a rolly rolly almost scouchy baby. The only problem is he can't roll from his tummy to his back. So he starts to get tired. We started sleep training him this week. He is doing so well! He can now fall asleep by himself. Which has given me so much more time. He is waking more at night but I think that's cause he's hungry. Growth spurt or low supply due to training for a marathon, I'm not sure... But I'm determined to adjust and make it all work :).
