Josh was in his first primary program yesterday. You know how there is usually one kid in the program who is louder than the rest only when he knows a word or two?? That was Josh. We were cracking up. I was the primary chorister, but I think Maddie thought that she was the chorister. She stood on the bench next to me and held the baton and held up the pictures that said to sing louder or softer.
Towards the end of the program, we passed a microphone and had each kid say one thing they were thankful for. We had no idea what the kids would say because it was meant to be spontaneous. Josh said, "I am thankful for my baby brother Tyler." It was so sweet. The cute little boy next to him in this picture said, "I am thankful for ice cream. Chocolate ice cream."
I couldn't resist getting a picture of Tyler's new little outfit. He looked so handsome.
We will miss our branch so much while we are away for Christmas. 4 more days until we are in Utah!!

I love that the ice cream kid clarified that he prefers chocolate. Awesome.
What a great primary program! Josh and Tyler look adorable and I'm sure that Maddie was stylin' as the chorister! Can't wait to see you guys tomorrow............. Love Foof

You all did awesome preparing the primary program - and we greatly enjoyed Josh's singing. I'm glad you got pictures - I was feeling bad for not having anything of Esther's first primary program.
Your story is fabulous. Fred Babble was in our ward in Falls Church, Virginia when we were in med school and I will never forget him and his wife. Everyone would go tohim for a blessing because they were so great. I remember his wife would pray each day for people to helpt and would just around the ward helping people daily.
