The Porch is now The Laundry. Bright, warm and functional.
Still working on a shielding curtain for around the toilet.
Doesn't bother me, but there may be times, so yeah.
Dylan got the speakers working out there yesterday, very nice.
And a drying line at some point. Still to come.
The glow in the dark skeleton, clock, old calendar decor.
Eleanor goes out there, Moby much less interested, so far.
The platform for washer dryer a great idea,
All credit to Dylan. And our able contractor's easy skill,
Wouldn't have been easy for us. Outside painting still needed.

This is looking wonderful - warm and comfortable, but perhaps a bookcase would be nice, next to the lavatory? I'd like to send you some appropriate books if you approve of the idea.
Imagination, design and effort made manifest! Maybe a tall screen to add a little toilet privacy.
RR,
A bookcase is definitely in the plan.
Nimble,
A screen is possible, but a curtain is easier to move until we get it all sorted.
Loveliest laundry room I've seen in a while!
Gentle,
HA!
This has really come along, so well thought out. Lovely!
It's very inviting! Almost all the comforts of home in there: running water, toilet, laundry equipment. Suggested additions: coffee pot or tea kettle, folding table (which itself could fold up out of the way), something to nap on...unless they are there and I just didn't see them.
All in all, a delightfully functional space. Kudos to all involved with the planning and execution.
Oh! And a bed for Eleanor (and Himself, when he begins to visit)!
I went back to look again and see the folding table. My bad.
Very nice work all around. I like that red window into the house and all the windows bringing in good outside light.
Sabine,
We thought about it for 5 years, glad it shows.
Crow,
It's not that far from the kitchen, but a place to put a tea mug would be good. The door is into the spare bedroom, so that's fine. Although the floor is soft enough for a quick nap.
A blanket rolled into a donut is Moby's favorite. Eleanor's favorite is sleeping on me when I'm lying down.
Cat,
Tangerine, but it's hard to tell in this photo. It was black. No idea why previous owners had such a thing for black paint. The light is all.
Am catching up ... wow! To not have to descend into the cellar on slippery steps with armfuls of laundry. The room looks bright and wonderous. If you would've installed a Japanese-style squatting toilet, you'd only need a low barrier screen.
Rou,
Would have been good. Don't know where I'd've found one, and it would have been more expensive for that reason alone. Still.
