Using up some cardstock, B&T paper scraps and one of my retired
stamp sets. Love getting to use up the scraps.
I also tried out the Cuttle Bug I got from my
friend Joann, who upgraded to a bigger and absolutely wonderful
embossing machine. (don't remember which one she has now)
I do not do many cards but, I think I am improving with each try.
This week is our Anniversary, So I thought I would make a
card especially for my super wonderful hubby.
25 years.
WOW!!! It really does not seem that long ago.
Used my Close To My Heart Twilight, Black, Colonial White cardstock
from my nearby stash. Also grab a few CTMH B&T papers from
my older stash and then a few papers from my random stash.
I used my Black CS for the base , embossed the Colonial Wht. CS
with the Cuttle bug Paisly.
The heart on the front wast cut with the cuttle bug using the CTMH B&T
papers. Used the I Love you sentiment from Close To My Heart
Acrylix Stamp Set ~
I used the negative piece of Twilight CS to mat on top of the random designed paper.
Used the cut out with another Paisley embossed CS for the inside.
I later added a personalized note for only my hubbies eyes.

Entered this card into the Outlawz CAS Challenge -It's A Heart
Really simple card.
Base 4.25" x 5.5"
Used papers from My Scrap Bin
The two black open cut hearts were left over from
another project using my Cricut.
Smaller hearts were punched with my CM Heart Punch
The stamped sentiment came from my CTMH Stamp Set
February Word Puzzle
Glammed up the open Hearts with my
Stardust Glitter Glitz Gel.

I made this for my hubby for his Valentine's Day. He's helping do something on my main page tomorrow while he is off. So, I don't want to post until Sunday night.I will have all the instructions then, tools & supplies for you then. I have been a busy bee with cards today.I have bypassed the amount of cards I attempted last year at this time. Beginning to feel more comfortable and having more fun doing them now. I have run out of time. So my next three posts will be all about Valentines, and the cards, and other 3-D art I have made over the last few days and into this weekend. For now, I have entered this into a new Challenge place I came into contact with tonight. Thank You to Lisa over at A Mermaids Crafts for sharing with me.

Another Card.. I am on a roll this month.
My Thank You Card for a couple
we just met over New Years Eve.
A Fun Time we all had.
I did some fussy cutting with my Sunflowers and
popped those up off the layers. One of my very
favorite things to do in crafting is STAMPING.
My Card was inspired by a paper pack we had
last year called Pemberly and the stamp set for
the Sept. Stamp of the Month.
This was perfect for what I needed. Hope you like.

Father's Day Card
Not a big card maker but, every now and again I'll make something for someone.
This time the handy work fell on my youngest daughter.
Way to Go!!
This Father's Day was a calm relaxing day for my hubby. Youngest daughter took Dad to a movie a week early due to scheduling...He got to see Avengers..He was pumped and liked the movie a lot.
I have been ill, so planning anything was out of my hands.
My oldest daughter and her family came through with a visit and bought DAD the other Movie he wanted to see...Sherlock Holmes~A game of Shadows. And she also brought a sweet surprise ~ Ice Cream Cake. We all got to enjoy this one. A card was made but not by me...My youngest daughter had her creative bone sparked and borrowed/used my crafty stash for this card. I think she did an awesome job. Needless to say..Dad enjoyed his week long Fathers day gifts and marathon of movies...LOL!!

My oldest's daughter's Birthday was last week. I did make her a card...(Not very good with them yet, but I am working on it.)
I just wanted to share it after her birthday so it would be a surprise.
I did find out that she goes to my blog once in awhile.
Hope you like it.
She loves sunflowers... So i did my best to make the paper flowers have that sunflower color and I added a little bit of a rose color to give the petals a little more realistic look.
