Kindness

Today I was in the bathroom getting ready for church.  Luke ran in and said, "Mom, Jake just asked me if I wanted some gum.  I told him I did and he gave me some."

Olivia woke up and was crying in her room.  I was getting out of the shower when Luke knocked on the door to tell me she was awake.  "You can go in her room.  I'll be there in a minute."  When I walked in, Luke had given Olivia every toy in her toy basket.

This evening Luke was upset about something and crying.  Luke and Jake share a room.  After family prayers Marley said to Jake, "You can sleep with me in my room if you want.  That way you don't have to listen to Luke cry."

It's the little things that make this mama heart swell.  Love these kiddos.  Love them more when they are kind to each other.
