I have learnt 4 things today.

1) Everytime we get a guy instructor for ACES (All Children Exercising Simultaneously - i just found this out today) day, it almost ALWAYS turns out to be some gay-ish guy. today was no exception. this guy would start with a totally normal movement. then he would destroy the movement by adding in a totally random movement like the shampooeing the hair movement. and also there's his favourite body part movement. he might as well be asia's ricky martin.


i hate ricky martin.


And i don't know what's so appealing about watching someone else's butty fats jiggle when it wiggles.


Ugh.


2) The second thing I learnt is that we have the BEST LAO SHI IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. yating rewrote the words in the 'lu bing hua' song from the 'lu bing hua' movie. So during recess we all crowded round the staffroom and vanny and grace went to get lao shi out. once she came out we SCREECHED the song out. after the song ended, it was like we all suddenly realised how many things lao shi has done or has sacrificed just for our sake's. And almost everybody was trying to prevent themselves from crying. zhixin, however, was tearing really badly. lao shi was crying too. i feel my eyes swelling up just typing this thing. T_T

3) 3B4 is really funny - especially the mama mia song. "there's a fire within our souls - (pure hydrogen burns with a blue flame)" and that was for physics? what subject does ms cheong teach?

4) This year's teacher's day has been the best one yet.

THE CARNIVAL WAS SUPER FUN. :D

We were one of the first schools to arrive there! So, we headed towards the adventure ride. (generous suggestion by ty)

I have learnt that army helmets are,
a) bulky
b) heavy
c) they jerk a lot. and this bumps your head.

NEVERTHELESS. adventure ride was FUN. the army guys are quite nice, as in they warn you when the bumpy part comes. and they also like to advertise steamboat in the night. xP Anyways we all got splattered. The freebie was tissue (for cleaning purposes), and some osim thing, which jumanah assured us that it was probably expensive, which caused us to go really loudly, OOOH.

Then we went to get a ride on one of those army tanks. Apparently, some boy in front of us was asking the ns guy if you could play golf inside the tank. Oh, I do hope he gets a hole-in-one. Char refused to stand up to pop her head out, but i would do the same if some people tried to force me to go up there. Or, I would stand up and SHRIEK REALLY LOUDLY, "Greetings dearest fans!" =x

After that we just walked around, and around. Then we came to this stage, with white chairs in front of it like there was going to be a perfomance, but the loud speakers were playing POWER 98 music. so we listened for a while. Then we went inside this total defence exhibition, where we read a book and played a game. Oh woot.

We also walked through some army vehicles, and there was this ambulance with three dummies which were full of injuries, including pierced eyes. So we all got a bit spooked by that.

We met jillian and candy, and jill started raving about some racing car game where she kept on having little accidents. (beware, in case she becomes a driver) then fang tian claimed that she was a good driver, and both of them ran off to play the game. And this was near 11.40, which was 5 mins away from the time that we were supposed to walk back to the meeting point. So, we, the nice group, who understands that sometimes females have their own form of testosterone when it comes to racing cars, and may i add the word VIRTUAL, sat down in the middle of the road and started playing concentration. I was nearly out of lives (5) when char suddenly announced that it was 11.45, time to move off. (whew) then SOPH is like, "no! can we play one more game so that stacey can die and do a forfeit?" Oh dear, so sorry to disappoint you. we called ft and jill to call them to come out, but they said that they were walking to the meeting point already.

okay, fine with us.

So we walked and met none other than davina and her gang, who apparently were on a waving frenzy, davina more frenzied than the others. Fortunately for them, the ns guys were nice enough to return their waves. Anyways, when we reached the meeting point jill and ft were not there! we had assumed that since they had started out earlier, they would arrive earlier. So we called them and they told us that they HAD started out, but then had come back to look for us. We, however, by that time, had already left. Then jill arrived and she came and started scolding us, like: WHERE WERE YOU ALL?! WHY DID YOU LEAVE HUH?! or something like that. ft went: WHY DID YOU ABANDON US??

oh WOW. accusing US when THEY WERE IN THE WRONG.

us: nobody asked both of you to come back and look for us. and since both of you had said that you were walking there already, naturally we would just have left as we knew we didn't have to wait for you. (actually, no one asked them to run off halfway to race cars too. oh YES, put the blame on US, will you?)

In the bus, davina was putting all her energy into waving. Then when the bus passed some barker boys, she started waving to try to prove her own point that barker boys were dao WRONG. (no offense though) and when one or two of them waved back, she SCREAMED IN ECSTASY. I swear, my ears will never be the same again. I was also laughing really hard. So I came up with a point system for her:
sec sch girl: 1 pt
sec sch boy: 5 pts
sec sch barker boy: 10 pts

the last we counted, she had 31 points.

I shall post about ndp, as promised.

Well, for a start, I didn't get to march because EVERYONE came. woot. so i just sat around and played with my handphone. I think i played like near 10 games of snake 2 and near 10 games of space impact. lalala.

We had a Singapore Food Industries lunch. ooh err URGH, i must say! we played a game where you had to make a sentence using a chinese word. Obviously, I failed terribly. T_T ty started talking in chinese, which, fortunately, was UNDERSTANDABLE. haha. my chinese pronunciation is HORRID.

We also had a KFC dinner. yay, nice mashed potato! :D

Then i just sat around. and played more games of snake 2 and space impact. (argh stupid 4th level where i keep on dying! >| )

When everything was finished, we went to the buses to go to jurong east or bugis. ty and i sat in front of tv mobile! and that was when we realised, OH! they're showing ndp! so the WHOLE bus of girls was watching two teeny tv screens to see what we could have missed. Then when they played the national anthem, we all stood up, and saluted the tv. haha! so fun so fun.

So well, now it's over, and i'm gonna miss all the WONDERFUL and POWDERFUL (poof poof) girls I met there. xD yay!

Labrador park was fun. the rocky beach was COOL! guess who was squealing all the way into the water. and squealing back and forth. and she SHRIEKED when the water touched her. and she also wasted a lot of litmus paper. gosh.

woohoo. changed layout. :D It's somewhat simple, because i used my brother's computer to make it, and his computer doesn't have the brushes that my computer photoshop has, so i just made use of what i had. The lyrics come from an assortment of songs. Try and figure out what songs they come from. The "dance to the music" etc. part was made up by me! haha. it sounds really funny. :S and the blurred words say "that isn't even there".

day after national day! my legs are aching from sitting down for long periods of time.

I gotta go and watch a show now so I'll write about national day parade tomorrow, or something. For those who know it, yes, i do have lots to say. xD

i am posting after ONE WEEK OF CHAOS which starts with a 't'.

and A is for Apple. :D

I'm going China with zhixin! She was bugging me the WHOLE week about it, so i finally asked my mom. I can't believe we're planning what we're going to do there when the trip's in november.

anyways. SHIOK WEEK IS NEXT WEEK! Monday is ndp celebrations, tuesday and wednesday are holidays, thursday and friday we are going for learning journey..! And i am seriously excited about labrador park. Ever since i saw the three words - the secret tunnel - on the powerpoint. haha! carnival@marina is gonna be fun too. The only thing is we're not the only school going. Apparently, we're 1 out of 217 schools going. T_T

I haven't updated for so long, i feel funny reading my post. It sounds weird.

whee. char and i were telling qing yun the consequences of not bringing her learning journey manual.

me: YOU SHALL BE SEVERELY PUNISHED. (note my attempt at making my voice LOUD and BOOMING. I think i failed miserably - squeak squeak squeak?)
char: and you shall suffer heavy losses!
me: yes, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR -erm- LABCOAT (it was the first thing i saw. note that by this time, i think qing yun had walked away. and me and char were laughing maniacs)
me: and you will come back and be like, "oh my gawd! my white labcoat is MISSING!"
