Last of Tokyo, Japan

Here to round up our Tokyo trip from last year!

Day 6 and 7 of the trip was really just to chill around and explore the city sights. A quick selfie at the entrance of our hotel before we start the day!
Had our breakfast and off we went to Shibuya for some shoe shopping!
This pair of stan smith was love at first sight
It's just so pretty and understated
So i bagged it home :D
After which, we had lunch at a random restaurant which we were totally blown away by the food served!
We were seated at the counter where our okonomiyaki and fried noodles were made. It was a really cool sight to see the chefs making our food
Selfie while waiting for our food!
And we eat it directly from the pan! Both were sooo good and beyond delicious! Definitely one of the best meals in Tokyo!
This is the shop name for memory sake!
Headed to Tokyo Tower thereafter for some photos!
Photos of us at Tokyo train station!
 Authentic sushi again for dinner!
Tired faces to end the day
The following day was Sg bound day. Had to have our favourite pork bowl from Yoshinoya again!
Both of us look super duper chui cause it was freaking 5am in the morning. Okay actually I think i look worse than the boy lol. Puffy faces, swollen eyes and obviously the lack of slp look
This view still gets to me everytime. No matter how many times I've seen it, it's always different.
Lots of kitkat flavours we bought from Tokyo!
 And lotsa instant mee too!
And more snacks and treats! Super love them! It all tasted sooo good!
Chopsticks which we bought for the new home and are already using it now hehe
Magnets to add to the collection!
Tokyo was awesome. The people there were polite and courteous, streets free of litter and everybody was just very graceful and kind. The food were super duper delicious and we know we will definitely be back. :')

Ng's Home - First look!

28 Jan 2018

It was move in day for us!

Prior to moving in, we did 2 rounds of major cleaning even after chemical wash to ensure that the house is really spick and span, and we sweat buckets. It was a good workout nonetheless haha.

Photos before we started sweating buckets haha ( I really love the mint wall!!!)
So I need to have it by the dining table too haha
On move in day, we set up the internet wifi, went shopping for daily household items and essentials and went about slowly unpacking.

Pardon uneven and bad lighting haha

One item I had absolutely no regrets getting was the Mi Robot! It is smart to map the entire house area systematically to ensure that no area will be left untouched. I simply put it to run before I left house for work in the morning and I always go back to a clean house! The suction power is awesome too. The husband hates it cause he thinks its slow, but I'm willing to pay for its convenience without lifting a finger myself haha.
We did some light cooking on move in day to start the hob and rice cooker! That is to symbolise abundance of food which is very important to me haha
Just some rice and scrambled eggs cause we did not have any other ingredients and condiments that time lol
We also did our first load of laundry a few days later lol

Our renovation took 2 months and we were so thankful to our beloved friend for rushing it for us to meet the auspicious move in date despite caring for a newborn baby full time. She also threw in loads of good stuff for us such as concealing all our aircon trunking and installing our door bell for free. Now, we are back to saving up our joint account once again. It went down so much for the house but we are truly happy and proud that we did it all on our own, with no financial help at all! :D

It's been 2 months since we moved in and our house is looking more like a home now. Will definitely make sure I post an updated look soon!
