So 2016 has gone by in a blink and we are in the year of 2017 now! But before I get excited about the year, I shall look back on how 2016 treat me!
2016 has been fairly kind to me. I'm grateful that the people who I love around me is healthy, still blessed to have a job and happily in love hehe.
It has been a year of mostly ups and lesser downs and I hope things get more awesome as I choose to focus on the good in my life.
In May, we ventured out of Asia and travelled to Australia for the very first time. The trip to Melbourne and Sydney opened our eyes and minds. We gained alot more perspectives in life as well.
In July, I got promoted in my job which I really appreciates the recognition given.
In August, I went on a couple trip to Taiwan with my Bestie! It was our first trip before her wedding and I hope we get to squeeze in another soon!
In September, we celebrated our 9th year dating anniversary and 1 year engagement. We had a no frills date by having a good dinner and just spending quality time with each other. ;)
\In October, as part of my birthday celebration. the boy brought us to watch a Broadway Musical for the very first time! The experience was kinda awesome hehe.
In November, I watched my bestie of 15 years got married to the love of her life. I was very honoured to be part of her bridesmaid entourage as well. It was all too touching and emotional for me that day haha.
In December, we went on our first staycation after so many years together! All thanks to the boy who got a $100 credits for us to spend haha. Otherwise I think we would never get to spend so much just to sleep on hotel sheets for a night haha.
We also spent our 10th Christmas together! That's a pretty mean feat I would say! HAHA!
Amidst all these best moments of 2016, we are geared in our wedding preparations and things are going fairly smooth as well with no major arguments or disagreements thankfully haha.
HELLO 2017!
I am extremely excited yet nervous to embark on 2017 as it will be a year of major but good changes! It will be a year of huge milestones as we will finally tie the knot, hopefully get the keys to our home and go on our honeymoon (if we still got the $$ haha).
So 2017, I'm ready for you and what you can bring! I wish for good health, happiness and wealth to all the favourite people in my life! :D
