Yay finally putting up the photos from the recent Taiwan trip!
The weather was mercilessly hot which resulted in alot lesser photos than desired! Note to self: Don't go to Taiwan in their summer in future!
Btw our trip started on a super exciting note.
We were bound for a 7am flight hence we agreed to meet the friends for breakfast at 5.30am that morning. The boy offered to set the alarm at 4.30am the night before, which I double and tripled confirm that he had set the alarm before we headed to bed. However, I find myself picking up a call at 5.30am the next morning and the first thing that came to my mind was HOLY SHIT ITS 5.30AM?! And I ended the call while murmuring to the boy that it's 5.30am and the funniest thing happened, he sprang and leapt out of bed with a loud HUH?!, and he was already brushing his teeth when I went out of the bedroom after making the bed. LOL.
We hastily brushed our teeth, washed our faces, changed and flagged for a cab in 10mins tops. It was truly an exciting start to our trip and I was laughing away at the excitement in the cab. LOL.
This had never ever happened in all of our previous trips as I was always the one setting the alarm. If I know this will happen on the first time he set, I will never ever let him set it haha.
AND GUESS WHAT, HE SET THE ALARM FOR 4.30PM. PEE-AMMM. Win liao.
So yea, thankfully we reached the airport in time to check in our bags and had a quick breakfast. Just felt bad for making our friends wait though.
So that is why there is no usual photo of airport ootd, breakfast and the likes cause we were simply too rushed for time LOL.
Yeap that's the end of the long story.
Upon reaching Taiwan, we dropped our luggages at the hotel before heading to have some famous braised meat rice for lunch!
Bad photo here because we were just too hungry. It's not bad but I wouldn't say its out of this world. Hehe.
After checking in to our hotel and got ourselves settled, we headed to the famous shopping district - 西门町.
With the bestie and it's our first trip out of Sg! Definitely more to go!!

Damn good I think I had at least twice in my 5 days there.

My 2nd love oh how I've miss you! It's basically fried mashed potato with lots of toppings like pineapples, ham, corn, egg and a whole spoonful of cheese omg, salivating at the thought of it. Haha.

Definitely taste better than it looks! So unassuming but yet taste so fine!
So yea, you can guess how the trip went. We basically eat and eat and eat nonstop. Haha. Really regretted not taking more photos though but I keep sweating so much when I was there which I have no idea why, so my hands were always kept busy wiping off sweat zzz.
