Love for Sneakers

Hello blog! I wanted to start writing about my recent Taiwan trip but I forgot to borrow Dearie's memory card holder so I guess that will have to wait yea?

Anyhow let me show you my increasing love for sneakers!

My first pair of casual sneakers other than my school shoes and sports shoes is this grey pair of Superga which I bought in July last year. I have been wearing it since then that it's starting to have that seasoned and dirty look to it lol. I have brought it to both of my overseas trips this year and it is still super comfy to boot!

It did not stop there though. I bought this pair of Nike from my recent Aussie trip and I am super glad it is not selling anywhere in Sg so it feels like I got a limited pair haha. It's not cheap to begin with, approx $140 so I'm trying to justify my buy by wearing it on dress down Fridays. This pair is super light on my feet so walking is a breeze, although the only small flaw is it wraps my feet so nicely that it can feel slightly warm when I'm not in an air-conditioned environment haha. Still love it nonetheless!

The design is clearer here!

And on my recent trip to Taiwan, I did it again. I bought this pair of Adidas to add to my collection. This love is getting expensive wts. This is another pair which is not available in this colour in Sg! It cost roughly the same as the Nikes so it's 2 new pairs of new shoes this year wts.

The pink is just super chio?!

How it looks like when worn. Too pretty! But it is kinda heavy man. Needs some getting used to compared to my Superga and Nike haha.

Now, if only I get to have this pair of Adidas Stan Smith, then my life will be complete. But it shall be a dream for now le sigh. haha.

Baby pink is too pretty!

Now, I have black, white and grey sneakers. It should be easy to match them around with my outfits so I shall put myself on a sneaker ban this year, and the next! Haha.

Sydney, Australia Day 10 & 11 // Thanks for the experience Australia! //

Day 10 was our last full day in Sydney so we had to make full use of it haha.

Headed to Toby's estate for a cuppa office before exploring around

It was only in Australia that I learnt to appreciate flat white and latte. I'm not a coffee person so I'm glad I took the first step to try their coffee. The fact that it aids in my bowel movement is another plus point haha, tea was not as effective for some reasons.

On to Hype Park we go!

Such a beautiful park! With coffee in hand, we talked while strolling and that feels like one of life's simple pleasures.

Chanced upon some beautiful architecture that calls for some photo taking! Not sure if it's a church or something.

And a fountain!

Sunshine on our faces so #smalleyes haha

Love how their trees lined the street that it almost feels like Sg!

Except we don't have such good looking buildings around us haha

The weather was so fine that we decided to head to Circular Quay for some more pretty photos with Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge hehe.

Luna park was just opposite! Gives me the creeps with its clown on the entrance though.

And we went back to Sydney Fish Market for lunch again!

Woo aburi scallops, how much I missed you~

Went for some last minute shopping thereafter

Queen Victoria Building which was as spectacular on the outside

I really adore these architectures, they were all so intricate and speaks of remarkable work!

Back to Madang for dinner where we shared a pot of Kimchi Jjiggae. Life's good and stomach's happy haha.

MEH Caramel Brulee ice cream :/

All our buys from Sydney which thankfully wasn't alot haha.

Magnets, snowglobe and coasters

Final day in Sydney where we had to catch an afternoon flight back home. Breakfast at a place highly raved for its coffee! Too bad I could not recall the shop name!

Glad we tried cronut on our last day! It's a mix of croissant and donut haha.

Dearie insist to take photo with this innovative looking structure lol.

Walked around Zara Home and left empty handed cause too expensive and no home to decorate yet lol. #ootd

Saying goodbye to Pitt Street where we spent the last 5 days at.

They have guacamole and salsa fries in Australia! Damn good.

Good bye Australia, for now. You have been a great experience for being one of the first non-Asian country we visited. Although our luggage lock was pried open on our arrival and our snowglobes being consficated (MEH BIG TIME WTS) by the immigration officer on our departure, the stay itself was pretty awesome with its friendly Australians (except maybe those at the customs). We will definitely be back to explore more cities such as Perth, Brisbane and Gold Coast :D

Ended up purchasing another snowglobe after we cleared immigration since ours got consficated. The officer even told us that we should check in the snowglobe in the first place but who in the world will check in such a fragile item in their luggage without any boxes whatsoever?!? I shall give them the benefit of doubt since we travelled in a period where terrorism possibility is relatively high.

And I did it! Completed all my Aussie travelogues before Taiwan! Now it's 2 more sleeps to Taiwan woohoo!
