Verbal Rant

Its been awhile since I last updated this blog and its not that I do not have things to blog about but Im on a book roll!

Ever since I downloaded the Goodreads App to my phone, I have discovered so many more great authors and their books. So now whenever I'm on my laptop, it will be just surfing through Goodreads.com and shelving the books to my to-be-read (TBR) pile, then downloading the free ebooks to my kindle! Its a vicious cycle considering I still have at least a hundred of unread ebooks but there I am downloading more, which makes my TBR list going a tiny bit out of control haha.

I guess the good thing is I will never run out of books to read, at least not this year haha.

Buying the kindle has got to be the best decision so far man. Im just bringing it everywhere with me and reading whenever and where ever I can, so much so that I have started to neglect this space and spending time with the boy. I hope Im not turning anti social haha.

And it's not a good thing considering we are going Australia in 3months+ and I have yet to start on the itinerary. Well I hope I still have time haha.

On a side note, skin is breaking out like crazy in the past 2 months and I donno the cause of it so its pretty damn depressing wts. Dont even know if its the foundation Im sensitive to or the monthly facials that are making my skin extra sensitive to bacteria. Everybody around me is asking what happen to my face, like hello if I know the cause then my face wont be in such a cui state right? Its gotten so bad I'm super self conscious when taking photos and steering clear of taking selfies damn upset. I dont even want to bump into any friends in public! Anyhow, lets hope this is just a passing phase! :(

Okay done with verbal vomit and gonna go back to my kindle!

Best of 2015 // HELLO 2016!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

2015 seem to pass by in the blink of an eye and as 2016 rolls around, I shall attempt to recap my Best of 2015, whether big or small.

"ENGAGED"

In terms of impact, my bestest and happiest of 2015 has got to be this! Being engaged to my lover, soul mate and best friend! 8 years of relationship is a fairly long time and we are absolutely certain we want to spend the rest of our lives together! I am glad our relationship is brought to a higher level now with more events to look forward to like our wedding and a house we could call our own!

"5 YEARS LONG SERVICE AWARD" 

5 years is definitely a long time to be in for a first job and I am grateful for my wonderful bosses and colleagues who helped shape me along the way. I am never one who is really ambitious of my career but just wishes to continue doing better each year. Hence, in 2016, I shall continue to do my best in my work and be a better employee!

"THE BOY'S COMMENCEMENT"

Witnessing the commencement of the boy was an honour and I am absolutely proud of him. We have always been there for each other's milestones in life since we graduated from SP years ago, to when he was serving the army, me getting my first job, him graduating from uni and now into his first job. It is extremely heartwarming to know that we have each other to share our lives together with!

"ANOTHER FIRST"

Adding the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix together to our list of "First's" together. Here's to many more firsts!

"TRAVELLED"

Bangkok 2015 was fun and definitely a good respite from our busy working life! To more safe travels and leaving our footprints together in parts of the world :)
