Jeju ✈ Seoul, Korea Day 3 // Bongchu Jjimdak (봉추찜닭), Myeongdong (명동) //

On leave today so I shall continue blogging about my trip! Hope to finish blogging the entire trip soon before my blog debts pile up too much! Too many things to blog too little time haha!

Anyway, 3rd day of the trip was also our last day in Jeju, and then we will be off to Seoul for the rest of the trip!

Morning OOTD first. Heh!
The navy blue knit top which I got off Qoo10 cost me approx $12 but it was so thick it kept me really warm, I was only wearing 3 layers - thermal innerwear, long sleeved top and this navy knit and I was close to sweating really!! It is so much warmer compared to wearing my $50 jacket from ColdWear oh well!

My favourite travel companion and I hehe. Cold weather gives u good skin and hair heh!

Had our breakfast at a 24Hr eatery recommended by our hotel host so there we were! Some traditional breakfast yo!

A wide variety of their menu!

We ordered Gimbap, Pork dumpling soup and Omelette rice to share! Food was pretty decent and affordable!

After we were done with breakfast, we went back to our hotel and prepare for checkout as we need to return our rented car and then head to the airport! Dearie told me to take a better shot of him so this is it. No worries, we were stopping at a traffic light when he looked into the camera heh.

A shot of him with the car before returning!

Reached the domestic airport and queuing up to board!

An hour later and we were back in Seoul waiting for the train to bring us from the airport to the city! This is how I look like with Dearie's backpack that he lent it to me! Hehe! I would like to think I'm quite capable of backpacking lol! I look so huge btw. :/

Reached Seoul Station and it's a really big interchange with shops and restaurants for transporters to have a quick bite so we dropped by this bakery selling really yummy croissants and the likes and got some pastries to fill our tummy!

They look yummy just from the photos!

Checked in to our room at Hotel Aropa! The hotel was pretty new so the room was really cosy with heater (saviour for winter weather), clean and tidy! Nothing much to complain and it was about $140/night so we paid about $1k for 2 for a week's stay!

Rested awhile in our room and we were out for lunch!

Went to APM (a shopping mall) to find our lunch! Lots of clothes and i feel like Im back to Platinum Mall in Bangkok haha!

Finally.. lunch! It was approx 3pm btw haha.

The famous Bongchu Jjimdak!!
It is korea's version of seasoned and simmered chicken cooked with spicy peppers, mushrooms, sliced potatoes, carrots and cellophane noodles! We chose to have it slightly spicy and it is really delectable! The sauce was not wasted as we had it together with our rice! One portion of this cost $30 which is pretty okay for 4!

With a bloating tummy :D

Stairs everywhere in Korea and in their train stations. Be prepared to have a good pair of walking shoes and just walk!

To Myeongdong next!

Myeongdong is like the largest shopping district in Seoul housing the wide ranges of cosmetic products offering, it's practically a beauty haven for cosmetics hoarders! But not us cause we went there for the street food!!!

Pretty beanies everywhere that I was really tempted to get!!

The street that stretches out. Plse imagine its size!

Twister potatoes!!

Hotteok which is a korean pancake! Really hot and yummy!

More snoods and scarves!

Sweet crepes? Seems like the owner is posing for the camera haha.

Christmas mood in the airr!~

Grilled squid which dearie loves!

All the sparkly and pretty shopfronts which is quite attractive!

Sausages, Tteokbokki and moree!

Seems like seoul is quite muslim friendly as well :)

Freshly squeezed pomegranate juice!

Lotte young plaza which Dearie's sis went crazy over cause they sells Kpop stuff there! And 3CE makeup which sadly I did not really go crazy over cause the crowd was madness :(

Lots of pretty boots but its such a chore to try them when you are wearing boots yourself! :(

We had dinner at one of the eatery just outside our hotel to rest our aching legs after all the walking!

Seafood pancake which was really thick and yummy!

Seafood clams soup which was a tad peppery for my liking. But still manage to warm my tummy heh

And that concludes day 3! Sorry for another major long post but there's just too many photos hee :D
