Ah it's been so long since my last update! Nothing much is going on in my life cause I am busy studying for my indepth tax exam!
Anyway I had quite a bit of good food these few months cause the boy had been working and could afford a slightly higher budget for a meal. But now since he started school, it's back to foodcourt again. Heh not complaining though cause foodcourt can have yummy food as well!

Finally finally have the chance to try HaiDiLao in Singapore! First was in Beijing and it was so memorable, the food the service. Singapore outlet is slightly lacking in this part though. But overall still pleasant!
Opted for a full tomato soup base! My favourite soup base out of the lot!
And a photo to end the night!
The bill amounted to about $35 each per pax! Considered pricey for a steamboat but I guess we pay for the ambience and service. I'm not sure when we will frequent again. :(

Another new restaurant in 313 is Chabuton! Known for its ramen which originated from Japan! It was super long queue on the day of opening so we went back again on a different day. I think it's quite decent but super love it when they allow us to top up the soup (pork broth) to make it slightly less saltier. Reasonably priced too!

On another weekday evening, met up with the ex-colleagues for Melben! Super love the chilli crab with the mantous and the creamy butter crab which my friend strongly recommend! We had it with several other dishes like fried rice, coffee ribs, prawn balls, veggies. And each of us paid about $37 for everything! Definitely worth it!
It was quite late by the time we finished catching up but we still bothered to take a wefie despite the bad lighting! Super blurrrr.
Here's a better one but Serene's chin got out of the photo. Stupid me went to delete the best looking photo out of the lot. -.-

A very impromptu dinner at The Corner Place Korean BBQ located at Marina Square Foodcourt. We wanted to eat foodcourt initially but the boy's eyes lit up when he saw Korean BBQ. And we just hecked and walked in. LOL. I find the variety of meat alot more interesting than Ssikkek! And it's just slightly more expensive at $30!
Thinking is it going to be ready soon? Heh.

Just last weekend, we had a chillax Saturday by heading down to Chinatown for a haircut and settling our lunch at Hong Lim Park. The currymee that Dearie recommended was the bomb!
New hair and someone got a new colour too!
SMIRK
And since we had lots of time in the world, we joined the queue for llaollao, one of this frozen yoghurt store in Sg! Got their sanum at $5.90 with 1 crunch, 3 types of fruits and 1 sauce. Chose the choco crunch, but can definitely choose a healthier choice like the muesli, got melon, blueberries and strawberries and top it all off with coffee sauce. We were being too adventurous la but seriously coffee sauce was a big NONO! I think I would have enjoyed more if it was some other sauce or not at all. Super love the froyo cause it was creamy and not sour. Hehe

Okie last one! Back at Tampopo for a quick ramen fix before checking out the mooncake bazaar located at Taka! Woots mooncake festival is around the corner :D
The chilli miso ramen that Dearie had was so potent for us both of us got abit of detox the following day haha!
And my all time favourite black pork tonkatsu ramen. I'm such a boring person, I always order the same old food if I super love it. Heh.
Okay what a long list of food places we had recently, and some other places which we did not even take a photo of.
Back to studying! Cant wait for the exam to be over on 2 Sept then I can officially do hardcore itinerary planning for Korea and online shopping to grab all my winter essentials! Extremely looking forward! :D:D
Have a great Friday y'all! :D
