Happy Horse Year!

Happy Horse Year!!

CNY day 1 is off to an okay start except that I got more and more grumpy as the day goes by cause everybody was asking me to speed up doing my daily stuff! And it really gets to me cause I like doing stuff at my own pace. Furthermore, what's the rush when there isn't much visiting to do?

I'm not sure if its due to the lack of sleep or the PMS hormones acting up in me that makes me snap at everyone and anyone, including the boy. HMPHF. SO MAD AT MYSELF!

Aunt Flo please come already before I offend more people and spend CNY unhappily. :/

Okay off to sleep this not so awesome day away and I hope tmr will be a better day cause it's chu er!

I hope the rest of you had loads of fun nonetheless. Enjoy the rest of the holiday and get lots of angbao!!

The Best Boyfriend Award

Today, Im a very grateful girl for having the best boyfriend in my context!

Start of story..

The boy went all the way down to ulu woodlands after school to help me exchange a pair of skirt from an online blogshop cos i need it for cny. Disclaimer: he volunteered cause he does not want me to go up and down from 1 place to another as i need to go to 2 venues to self collect. (How sweet?!) It was only after that he told me it took him a good 1.5hr of travelling time oops.

Well, I was spring cleaning at home and was supposed to self collect 2 items from different blogshops at different locations (1 at ubi another at paya lebar) and meet him thereafter. But! Blur me forgot to print the invoice for 1 and he gotta print and meet me to collect tgt. But because I took awhile to find the bs located at paya lebar, he went ahead and collected it on my behalf at ubi before meeting me. End of story..

Im so lousy with navigations and directions really. I was just hovering around the same place until i finally decide to walk around. Gps serves no use at that point cos it brought me to the wrong location meh.

So its times like this when i appreciate his presence even more cause he is always thinking of ways to reduce my load and helping me in whichever way he can, with not a word of complaint. Im really x10000 uper touched how he always goes a thousand miles to make me happy. And on the other hand, im just bullying him like a 天霸王. Oops. Hehe.

I did rewarded him with a good dinner on top of a fat hug and big kiss. Hehe ;)

Spring Cleaning Sunday

Blogging through the phone now..

Today is Spring Cleaning Day! Or should I say its wardrobe clearing day!

That's a photo of all my tops laid out! Just tops only... i nearly go @.@ refolding and categorizing this pile. Not forgetting my bottoms and dresses... But after 3 hours of throwing, folding and sorting, I'm finally done!! Toooo tired to snap photo of the 'after'. Actually the wardrobe still look as cramped MEH! But I thrash away 2 huge bags of clothes so it's mission accomplished I suppose? It is all ready to be sent to the salvation army!

Spring cleaning is not for the weak man. My arms are so sore alrdy! And I still have the rest of my room waiting for me...

I shall take a short break before I continue my battle later!

Dearie's 25th Birthday!

Yay I'm so happy that I never run out of things to blog! I would like to think that my life is interesting. LOL.

On to the boy's 25th birthday celebration! Hehe!

Together with his family, we celebrated in advance on Sunday night (actual day was the following Mon). It was nothing fanciful, just a simple Zi Char dinner and a cake for him! :D

Anyway we headed out to collect his cake around 5pm that evening heh.

Tada! His huge birthday cake. We ordered the Baileys Chocolate Crunch cake and I think it's not bad, with a tinge of coffee in it. Anyway I think the smiley face is really cute. I wanted it to be :) but i guess this works as well too. Hehe.

Happy 25th Birthday favourite boy

May all your dreams and wishes come true!! :DD

Giving him a piece of handmade card. :D:D A very slipshod work though but he's so happy to receive it haha!

I really like the lime green bag with the purple handles...

And I got him this! A really classy design! (Thank you to Hammie for accompanying me to get this!!) His current belt collection is really cui. One turned grey from white another with a rusty buckle. Cannot take it. So glad I got this cause not only is it in black, it's reversible with the other side being brown! He stunned me when he said he is going to use it for 14 years cause its 7 years a side (Taking statistics from his current rusty belt which he used for 7 years). FAINT. Even though its a size bigger but definitely not something a few holes cant solve ;) And most importantly, he likes it too! :D

Polariods! Too overexposed meh. :<

*

So we started Monday morning with a really nice Mac breakfast and tried out the new tortilla wrap with scrambled egg and ham. It's really yummy!! Then both of us went to work before meeting up again for dinner that evening! :)

Brought him to Sumire Yakitori House! I always make a point to bring him to Japanese restaurant which we haven been to on his birthdays cause he's a huge fan of salmon sashimi! But because he had a real bad diarrhoea a few days prior to his birthday, he kinda put himself off the sashimi for awhile.

So it's cooked food for us both yay!

Crunchy cabbages for us to munch on while we order through the ipad! Almost every food places uses ipad as an ordering device now.

And the food spam starts from here!

Favourite! It's like a huge ball of croquette but with onsen egg inside!! Look at the yolk oozing out~

Yucky pig liver which the boy finishes.

His "Act Cool" expression. -.-

And the night ended on a rather happy note! With bursting bellies. hehe.

And just last Friday, the whole bunch of us celebrated with him over dinner at Rakuzen! Really nice ambience and food with reasonable pricing! Too bad the food photos are not with me! Will post it up here after I get it from Dearie. And so much for bringing polariod, camera out. Once again we amazed ourselves by not taking any photos. LOL. Let's take more next mth!!

He's really happy about his card and present cause his harddisk crashed recently. Lol.

Alrighty off to talk to the boy!!

Cycling Date @ East Coast Park

On the first weekend of 2014, Dearie and I headed to East Coast Park for some couple activity! He had this sudden urge to cycle the previous week but the plan was cancelled due to the weather. Thankfully, the weather was in our favour that day despite the slight drizzle here and there!

The happy kid asking me to take a backview of him and ask me whether I'm done just as I was snapping this photo. Cute. HAHA.

Whee! It's been eons since we last cycled together!!

We got the $8 bikes and they had this promotion going on - 2 hours and get an hour free! So it's $16 each! Really worth it for the 3 hours ride! We cycled from one end to the other end! Super fun hehe!

Stopped awhile for some photo memories!

And we cycled and cycled and reach the castle beach! Was there for a while watching the people build castles and the kids play. Fun times can be free too ;)

Such a pity we could only watch and see!

Took so many polariods of the same pose lol cause we were trying to see which modes work best! And it's so funny to do self shot like this that I burst out laughing a few times la! (which explains my really wide grin. BIG MOUTH YO)

And finally! The better shots! One for him and one for me :D

Brunch @ Riders Cafe

On the last weekend of 2013, Dearie brought us to Riders Cafe for brunch after my driving lesson! He paid for the bill (Thank you B!) cause he said I'm have been helping him on so much stuff when he was doing his exchange in Beijing even though I seriously don't intend to get rewarded for anything. But it sure is a bonus and it's so heartwarming to know he appreciates all the little things ;)

Tadah! Reached the cafe in like 15 mins??! I did not know it's so convenient to travel to Bukit Timah from Ubi! It seem so out of reach on the MRT map. Heh.

The place was really bright with enough spaces between tables to provide privacy! And we are able to look at horses while having our meal! It certainly does not feel like Singapore!

Pardon tired face :/

I guess the boy was equally tired too heh.

My must order English Breakfast Tea!

Dearie's latte as usual!

Food was served! "The Usual" for me! Chose to have my eggs scrambled!

Dearie's Blackstone Benedict!

Shortly after this photo was taken, Dearie found a tiny scrap of paper on the ham and the staff apologised before preparing another fresh portion for us. Really efficient and excellent service!

Whoa nice hair. LOL.

Love cosy weekends like this with the man
