I cannot believe my long weekend is gone just like that.. :(

Just 2 more weeks and I am outta ultra sunny and humid Singapore and on the way to meet my lover!

BTO - Signing of Agreement for Lease

The signing of Agreement for Lease of our flat came and went. As Dearie was not around on the appointment date, he got to appoint a Power of Attorney (PA) to execute on his behalf. So we went to the law firm a day before he flew to get the PA sorted out and this procedure cost us $200 boo!

It was so upsetting cause HDB does not allow us to delay the signing of this lease till when Dearie's back, and they would deemed us as giving up our chance if we did not go down on that day. How smart ey?

So anyway I went down, together with his mum, and went through all the signing of papers myself. And that's a lot!!! After signing the papers, the officer went through the payment process with us, we made use of the staggered downpayment procedure and paid our first 5% downpayment, so my CPF is actually $9k poorer after the deduction. So grateful for our housing grant!!

So yeap, it's all done and there's no need to go down to HDB again till the collection of keys yea! Meanwhile, cant wait to see it being constructed. Estimated completion is 2019 but the officer told me to prep myself that it might be ready in around 2017/18, which is not too far away! O.O

Hello!

Thought I could type a short entry today.

It's dearie's one month stay at Beijing today! How time flies whoop whoop!! And I am elated to say that I will be flying over to join him for a couple of days next month!! Woohoo! Totally can't wait! :D

Although any parts of China has never been part of my to go places cause there are so many other countries in the entire world that I want to visit, but I guess it doesn't harm to open my eyes to more exposure right? :P Moreover, there's SQ promotions going on right now so its like my calling to go over and find him!

This upcoming trip is such an impromptu one that I, or rather we, never foresee me doing this prior to his exchange. Sure I have said that I would like to visit but if not for the promotion, I reckon I will be in Sg waiting for him. Hahs. It is gonna be my first trip onboard a flight alone and Im really excited!! Lol! Like a cool adventurer and spontaneous kinda girl. Let's hope this trip will be a good one!

And I look forward to seeing you in less than a month's time baby! ♥

KBOX $5 DEAL with Le bestie

Last Sunday, dated my bestie and had a great singing session at KBOX! For just $5 nett! We can sing from 11am to 2pm with lunch and a drink provided! So elated! Cheap thrill I like! HOW CAN MISS!! Hehe!

The room was big but so dim and romantic. HAHA.

The free goodie bag that they gave!! With 2 magazines, a bottle of fizz drink and a box of pills to combat menstrual cramps. LOL. I don't even know why it landed in there. Like a no link? Haha.

My lunchie! Pineapple rice with chicken wings which we cannot complain really. :) At least it's decent enough. Hehe.

Then, we headed down to MBS! They were having IT fair over there so it was really crowded near the convention hall area. So we walked around and find ourselves queuing at TCC, taking a break from all the walk and just chillax.

Damn cheezy the filling! Can pull and pull and it will never snap. It's like eating chewing gum. Haha.

Switch by Timbre

It was Switch on a TGIF night with the beloved colleagues :) And it's by timbre as well.

First thing I crave for was their duck pizza! Made a reservation for 7pm so we breezed through the queue. Hehe. Ordering was done through ipad, which was quite high tech I thought. Haha. And food was served quite promptly even though they managed our expectations by saying that it will take 20-30 minutes. :)

Okay it's gonna be food photos ahead! But pardon the bad lighting cause the place is dim and I did not use the flash.. Oh well...

Timbre's mojito! We ordered 2 jugs cause it's 1 for 1 during their happy hour! 

It taste quite lime-y. Hehe.

Buffalo Wings! OMG I only had one but I wish I had more?! THE SAUCE IS SO YUMS.

Seafood Aglio Olio which was quite well done too.

OMG THE STAR OF THE NIGHT! DUCK PIZZA!!! SUPER YUMMS PLSE!!

This is so sour!! My friend say its a combination of different types of liqueur. Nearly fainted. :X

The gig was quite awesome and great that night! The first place which I know which had a good mixture of English and Mandrain songs. Oh it started at 9pm so be sure to stay till that time! Songs dedication is free!!!

We tried dedicating this but it wasn't chosen!

Nonetheless our dedication of "Top of the World" to Serene goes through!! :D:D There's a story behind this song.. We sang this to the branch during one of the festive occasion and she always have difficulty mastering the key to start the song.. Which we find it humorous whenever we hear her sing. Haha. Ah memories....

The gooey remains of the mushroom risotto which we left for like 30 mins, became the dish for us to play 终极密码. Super gross and eww but I'm lucky enough not having the chance to taste it. :P

And a group photo of us when we left for the night at round 11-ish. I felt young again that night to still be roaming outside at that hour. Haha! 

Singapore City Race 2013

So the day has come for my first ever marathon and running together with my very awesome colleagues! I am still rather amazed that we are so enthusiastic in going for this when we are not exactly addicted to running. Heh. But it's certainly good for a start!!

The starting point was at Millenia Walk! And we got to reach by 9am. Taking a group shot before being all sweaty and unglam after.

Okay this run is really more than a run really. Not only does it not have a fixed route, but we have to plan it ourselves, in whichever way we think is the shortest . We got to pass all 5 checkpoints and get stickers pinned on our bib each time.

So basically, our route goes like this...

Millenia Walk (Starting Point) > Ann Siang Hill > Chinatown > Robertson Quay > ION Orchard > Fort Canning Park > Millenia Walk (Ending Point)

We were really really really tired and sweaty and all things unglam by then! Initially, we were quite motivated to run but after a while we realised that we got to stop at traffic lights, look at the map now and then to determine our location, that it is somewhat difficult to continue the momentum and we decided to keep strolling then. HAHA. Epic fail. Runners strolling? HAHA.

We completed our run/wallk/stroll (whichever you call it) in like 3hrs? When it should have been completed like half the time shorter? But nonetheless we had lots of fun! Despite the endless flights of stairs at Ann Siang Hill and Fort Canning Park, I think we did pretty well in terms of spirit and not the timing. LOL.

We are already searching around at the next race already! And hopefully it will materialise! :D:D

Whoa. All my sweat. 

It says 10km here but no? My tracker says 13km. WIN. Huge achievement there nonetheless! At least we completed the whole race. Hehe!

Okay this is random. Just want to plant a photo of Hammie and I at her recent badminton competition and I am super elated to say that her team won the championship!! WOOHOO! You did great this time round girl!! :D To more championships ahead!! Your forever pong pong girl ish me. ;)

Went down to Costa Sands for Xinyee's 21st birthday party 2 Saturdays back. A pity Dearie is not here! If you are reading this, you are so missed!!! Cannot wait for June to come! :D
