BEWARE: IMAGE LOADED ENTRY.
We spent our 6th valentine's day at South East Asia Aquarium, also known as one of the largest oceanarium in the world. The tickets cost $39 (inclusive of Typhoon theatre and priority queue worth $10)
So this was what greeted us when we went in. A very huge ship replica that they made. It was filming how Zheng He crosses the South East Asia with this huge ship of his.
Then, we got on the trail of the south east asia's countries (e.g China, Malacca, India, Vietnam) and know more about their heritage and history. Some snapshots taken!
With another ship replica that was given to Singapore as a gift by some country, which I forget what it was. ><
At the end of the trail, we found ourselves going into the Typhoon Theatre!
The entrance of the theatre. We watched a clip of how this prince was assigned by the emperor to send a gift, and how they took the task down even though the seas were uncalm and does not look promising. Of course, eventually they did not managed to send the gift safely and get away from the huge thunderstorm. Very 4D effect where we got ourselves wet from the "storm" while watching too.
And when we were out of the "ship", we found ourselves at the Aquarium! How nice!
With Dearie and his huge wide smile! Hehe!
A chart depicting how a sinked ship can transform to a living place of the ocean.
Love this photo of us! ;)
This is damn gross I feel! Some sword razor fish I think.
Taken together with the highlight in the Aquarium! So pretty! See my perpetually shocked face. Haha!
And we got the chance to touch starfish too!
So pretty again omgz you got to see for yourself.
Jelly fish galore! How cute upclose. Hehe. They can be very poisonous though. Looks are deceiving.
The upside down jellyfish! All stacked on top of one another. Feel so sad for them cause they always belong to the bottom of the base. Hmm.
I think the name is quite funny. LOL.
Reaching ocean dome!
Huge huge aquarium.
OMGz pardon the thunder arms.
A photo with all the colourful fishes! In pinks, yellows, blues!
What a pretty sight! I can look at it all day and feel instantly happier. Hehe.
Last stop, and we finally saw the sharks!! They were all so young!
And we exited here! See the long scary queue behind me!!
After which, we had dinner at the Malaysian Food Street! Wanted to dine at some restaurants but our hearts took over and we feel like trying the food there more after seeing the wide range of food they carry.
Penang Lor Mee!
This char kway teow is damn nice!
And I finally settled my Bak Kut Teh craving!! The soup is not very peppery like how I like it though.
Made a card for my dearest valentine! He is starting to say.. "Is this your standard template?" Erps. I also think so. I myself ran out of ideas already. :(
I got him a tee from Abercrombie and Fitch which he wore on CNY Day 2! Love the contrasting green logo and button strip against the blue shirt!
But I actually thought he looks good in pink too. But the man dont dare to wear that colour out so we did not get that. Haha. Should find a chance to sneak this in his wardrobe someday. Hehe.
And here's his big card for me!! So huge omgz! And so insanely happy receiving this from him. Hehe.
And my very expensive pressie from him! All charms lovingly chosen by him as well. This one pink stone cost $100 odd, I must be mad at that moment to allow him to buy that for me. Feeling the pinch now as I think about it. ><
Nonetheless I will be wearing this very often to fully utilise it so don't worry baby. Hehe. Cannot wait for mid March to come as there will be a new charm collection coming up whee! :D
♥
Thank you for loving me for who I am all this while baby, you are one in a million. ILY. To more valentine's day ahead ♥
