This calls for a celebration! :D

Last Friday saw us heading to Sarang as a celebratory dinner for me!

Reason being after working as a contract staff for 3 years, I finally upgraded to a permanent staff, with effect next month! Haha! Yay to me!

Signed the new letter of appointment that day and told this piece of great news to the boy!

So he offered to treat me to a good dinner! Of my favourite cuisine!

Sho happy that I finally got to try this place. The boy is being very sacrificing cause he can't really take spicy food but he's so willing that day. Sho sweet. :) Though he's drinking water half of the time. Haha! Need to train on his spiciness tolerance this one. ;)

We decided on a set for 2 which cost about $58++? Which we did not anticipate it being that much. :/

Drinks came! Mint Berry Cocktail - Cranberry, lime and sprite.

Appetizers next! Sarang Japchae - Stir fried vegetable vermicelli tossed in sesame oil

Top left: Fresh Kimchi!! Anytime baby. Haha! #kimchifan

Top right: Jeyuk Bokeum - Stir fried spicy pork on sizzling hot plate. (Comes with mashed potato and corn! So naise one!)

Bottom left: Budae Jjigae - Kimchi, sausage, spam and pork served in Seoul's favourite pot. (Super nice the stew! Leave me wanting for more! I even ask Dearie whether do they do refills of the stew. LOL!)

Bottom right: Tteokboki - Korean rice cakes and fish cake in a sweet and spicy sauce. (Ala Carte order)

Nom nom nom. Sho hungry! Feasting starts!

A table of food! So much so that the waiter can't serve us ice water. :( Not till we finished our cocktail. Even the couple at the table beside us look at us as though we were monsters when our food keep coming on the table. >.<

Nom nom!

Take picture! Then continue eating again!

We were so full and bloated that we forgot about our dessert until the waiter reminded us. :/
Bingsu - Korean style ice kachang. We only ate the liao cause too full. >.<

Total bill adds up to about $70ish. Oops. >.< Too ex. Can only indulge once in a long while. For the better of the wallets and the waistline. Hehe!

Fifty-ninth! ♥

Pardon the absence from the blog these days, I really really wanted to blog about National Day and whatnots, which is so long gone. But I cant find the SD card holder of my camera! Gotta find a replacement before I can upload all of them here. T_T

Anyways, to cut the long story short. It's our 59th monthsary today! Coincidentally on the Chinese Valentine's Day (七夕情人节) too! :D

Sadly, we did not have the chance to meet up for a short dinner like how we always do cause I need to mug x1000. BUT! we will find a day to make up for today! And 大吃大喝, just like always. Hee!

Here's a big ass photo of us. In case you forget how we look like due to the lack of photos. Haha!

Leaving this space and off to bed in a while! Weekend started for me already cos I'm on leave tomorrow and next Monday cause I need to 闭关修炼 for my upcoming exam next Tuesday! Jiayou to me!!

I will be right back! Watch this space after next Tuesday! Hehe!

#242

My life is so mundane nowadays. Im between home and the office recently. Been preparing for my tax exam at the end of the month so I'm mugging very hard hoping to clear it once and for all!! Hehe.

And I gave myself a little break the day before to catch Total Recall with dearie. Super futuristic show! I love it! Hehe! Thankful that I caught it before it ceased screening. :D

Anyway, enough of ramblings. I will be back soon to blog about National Day and some other random stuff after my exam!. Heehe.

I like this! ^^

"It’s okay. It’s okay to want someone you can’t have. It’s okay to want something more. It’s okay to cry when you’re hurt, and it’s okay to stay mad at someone who hurt you. Believe it or not, it’s always going to be okay. That’s just how it works. Sometimes things don’t work out how you want them to, and most of the time, it seems like they never will. But eventually, everything is going to iron out some way or another. You just have to believe, keep your faith, and move on."

Keep faith, and move on. Everything's gonna be okay ;)

#241

The 241st entry here.

I strongly believe, obstacles are there to make you stronger. I met them, challenge them and evolve into the person that I am today. But there is a bigger obstacle in front of me now. To do or not to do is just between two thoughts, but the consequences drastic. I would not know how to handle, if not for the fact that there's always someone encouraging me on and backing me up.

I hope to survive this one big obstacle someday, without ruining myself in the process, and emerge as a stronger being. I want to be able to look back and see how far I have come to in my life, and not how far am I away from my own goal. Instead of counting all the broken pieces, I'm going to focus on piecing them up.

Ignorance is definitely not bliss this time round. I will only achieve bliss once I have gone through this hurdle, which I believe is going to need a great bound of strength, will and determination in me.

Finally, think happy thoughts. This is so important to me right now.

JIAYOU to me.
