This Cool Gift Basket Can Be Yours!

Hi Every Bloggie! 👋

I have some great news. Over the weekend, we received a gift basket from our friend Towma at Pet Source to raffle off and raise funds for our NYC Half Marathon charity Pencils of Promise.

Here it is!

Want a closer look?

It has Earthbound Shampoo and Smelly Good Spritz, Zuke treaters, Fruitable snacks, a Battle Tested Toy, $10 Gift Card to Pet Source( if you are not local we can substitute it with equal value treat/toy) and Buddy Biscuit Soft & Chewies.

What do you need to do to enter the raffle?

Here's what you need to do. For every $1 you donate, you will have one entry to win the gift basket. For example, you donate $1 = 1 entry, $2= 2 entries, $5= 5 entries. You get it right?

On Sunday March 9th we will announce the winner by 12 noon EST. We'll use a random name selector to pick the winner. (Unfortunately we have to limit winners to US and Canada residents)

What are you waiting for?

Help raise money to build schools with Pencils of Promise  and get in it to win it!

I'll just frog 🐸on until you enter!

Love💗
Nordude

Nordude runs for more than Dunkins!

Gosh! I have big big news!

This week I'm raffling off prizes to peeps and dog blog pals who help out.

You guys know I run and walkies all the time. Every day I log miles for Charity Miles to earn money for different charities. Last year I logged over 1000 miles!   So one of the Charity Miles organizations, Pencils of Promise  emailed me. They said we were one of their top walkers and offered a race entry to the NYC Half Marathon Pencil of Promise team. We were so honored, we accepted immediately! So being on the team, we did commit to raising $2000. The money raised goes to building schools in areas of need. Giving a gift of education!

I'm helping out. I'm training with my momma. See! Even in the super cold temps, I make sure she gets her training run in with me

Better yet,  I'm also helping out with raising donations!

Every day this week, I will raffle off a prize to any one who donates (any amount) on the day of the prize posted. My friends at MetLife gave me a few fun Snoopy prizes. Snoopy is still brand new so he's hanging out in a bag.  Here's the best news.  On the day you donate, you  get your chance to win.  Sunday's Snoopy prize is Red Baron Snoopy.  Enter and Donate today!  (any amount is fine)

Here's my donation page

See me, the Nordude runs for more than Dunkins!. But munchkins do help.

Every day is a different prize so stay tuned and donate!

Thanks every Bloggie!

dog dayz of summer

Hi every bloggie!

I have some summer fun to announce.

You probably know I get around.....
not just on the trails, rivers and to fun doggie events
but also on the internets.
Me and a few pals from instagram got together and
created a fun dog dayz of summer daily photo theme for August.

Each day you post a photo for the theme of the day. That's it. Easy peasy.

See here's an example
Day18:  fav human snack! That's me and a DD jelly munchkin!
You don't have to be on Instagram to do it.
You can post it in blogland, twitter, facebook, G+, tumblr, etc.
Just tag or label it with the day's theme and augustdogdays.
You can do all the days or any combo. It's just for fun!
Okay that's all! Toodle loo!

hi every bloggie!
This summer started off really fun. The last weekend in June,
I ran in the CapeK9Cardio K-9 5K Trail Run. A race just for us dogs.

Pawk this way!

Yah know what's weird? I was walking from the pawking lot
to the start line and these weird peepers were along the way.
I prefer the froggah peepers please.
This is not the type of peeper I like

Here we are at the start line.
I'm so ready! That Rottie girl behind me had a beard.
I think that's sexy.

FX PhotoStudio Image

Are you ready for this?
I had my secret spy vid-cam w/me so you can come along.
Hold on tight to my leash.
(If you get motion sickness- don't watch)

Whew woot wootie woot! We did great! Fun times on the trail-huh?
What? You're breathing really furry hard.
I can't understand you.

About 75 dogs with owners ran or walked today.
It was all to earn green papers to open a dog pawk in Falmouth.
I noticed at the race a few bloggie pals were here too.
Frankie Furter? Oh no hat.. that's not frankie then.

An old man BT. Joe Stains didn't have those Andy Rooney eyebrows.

Oh yeah... blue mans representing.

yep.. I think he's nutty too just like me.

A golden... maybe sammie, avalon, sugar, amber mae.. I can't tell them apart.
Blondes can always come to the pawtee.

Every furbody was just coolin out.

Here's me at the finish line! woohooo!
I finished in 33 mins placing 19th out of 50 that ran.

The winner was a weimaraner with 20 mins.
He and his bean were flying. Wowzer.

But I think I win for my endzone celebration!

After the race, I hit the swimming hole along the trail.
Still had to cool off and we were waiting for the after pawtee festival to begin.

Norsharks in the water.. be careful.

Lookie at the trail stairs.. wowzer ....
That's Fun Aunt Dee and me!

The after pawtee festival. I took a front row seat by my favorite booth.
Cookies cookies cookies for me?

You ran pretty fast with me.. let's frog it out the rest of the day.

Froggin out
toodles. I can't wait for next year's race.

Oh yeah. I almost forgot.
Here's a photo from one of the professionals at the event.
Me as the classic bandito.
If you want to see more fotos from the race..
