On the 2nd the Golden Plover flock had risen to 106 and a Chiffchaff was present in Holland House gardens. 265 Oystercatchers were counted on the 3rd. After heavy rain for most of the day on the 4th a quick trip to Gretchen Loch in the afternoon produced an impressive 93 Redshank, 11 Black-tailed Godwit and best of all an adult Red-necked Phalarope.
